An hour or so before the game, if it's likely going to be under something like 70% capacity, and there are blocks and blocks of good tickets on third party sites, buy the shittiest seats you can, duplicate the ticket and photoshop some seat numbers ( and section ) that are in a good section with a ton of third party still available. Scan the OG seats to get in. Pocket the altered set. Check out the scene in the first quarter and find the empties, then head down to that section with the altered set.
Most of the time the ushers don't scan you again but will look at your ticket.

I have tickets for the Bools / Lakers game Wednesday.
I'm putting the odds at 51% Bron doesn't play. Dude is due for a game off. The Lakers play in Minnesota the next night. I figure he takes one of the two games off.
A.D. is struggling with injuries. I'm putting the odds at 49% he doesn't play.
My buddy that I am going with - doesn't even know that A.D. is on the Lakers. He's the same guy who has a kid at Kentucky that is a Senior and has attended less than 10 home games during his UK tenure.
Moral of the story is, I'm glad I didn't pay for my tickets. FACE is $628 a piece and they are about 24-25 rows from the court. It's fricking ridiculous and criminal what the Bools and NBA charge for tickets.
If neither A.D. nor Bron play, I feel bad for those who did pay for their tickets. Heck, some paid "scalper" prices.
Who in the world has that kind of money to spend day in and day out over the course of a season? I don't understand how teams can attract enough people at those prices to survive.
Normal tickets for regular people seats are $100 right now.
Gutter is talking about the rich people seats.
Of course!
When you take into account that Gutter is connected, that makes perfect sense.

how can anyone spend $100 plus parking/transportation, plus snacks, etc more than once a year to watch crybaby professional athletes (who complain and don't play games because they feel their millions of dollar a salary isn't enough) play a sport. Then on top of that they might not play that game because, gee, it's just too tough on them, they need rest.

For some people $628 is like $6.28.

For the record, LeBron has only missed 2 games so far this season. Same for AD.
LeBron is 38 years old. That's impressive durability.

Bron is gonna break the top 25 All Time in rebounds this season.
I don't think he catches Chris Paul in assists but he may surpass Gary Payton in steals.
In the end it'll probably be:
1st in points, 4th in assists, 5th in steals, 21st in rebounds.

in one 32 month stretch Jordan had 3 titles, 3 scoring titles, 2 MVPs, 3 finals MVPs and missed 0 games.

Why only 2 MVPs during that stretch?

they gave the third one to Charles Barkley in a year where even Charles himself has said he didn't deserve it.

630 bucks a ticket for a shitty Bulls team?
Naw.
It's for the Lakers being that the prices are on a scale based on the opponent but regardless - it's criminal.

Normal meaning what? "Average"?
Average price for an NBA ticket is over $200. Granted, floor seats are included in that average so of course that boosts up the average considerably - and of course there are "cheap" nose bleeds to be had for under $200 but the ticket price ($628 face) is for the last row of the 100 level - and the 100 level suites.
Average price for a Bools ticket is close to $300 this season.

"Connected" or not, I figure it's about 50%/50% in regards to people using their own tickets and people who were given tickets who sit in the higher priced seats.
Heck, Sunday afternoon I am going to the Bears game. Not a single person sitting in the suite paid for their ticket and those who did pay for them - are not attending. My guess it will be close to 75% like that in all the suites because the "wealthy" people are going to be out of town on vacation.
Us peasants reap the rewards/benefits.

I respect your feelings but.....
Some people enjoy doing it. Some don't. I don't fault those who do and I don't fault those who don't.
I know people who spend money on things I never would and I spend money on things they never would.
That's just the way the world is.

Yes.
For some people $628 is like $6,280.
I cringe when I think about the people I know who could give me a million dollars and it wouldn't faze them or change their life in the least and it would make a HUGE difference in my life. I feel there is something wrong with that. God bless them. God damn me?
