I'm feeling the same way as long as the Tang-ettes don't strangely go off from 3 pt range (ala WVU & ISU). I liked our improved rebounding against those other cats and hope to keep that going.

I am not going to judge KU based on their best performance of the year. They clicked on Saturday; in no way does that prevent them from coming out flat and lethargic tonight. College kids are inconsistent so who know. One of the many reasons not to bet on college sports, I suppose.

Props to Pooty Tang for making their fans stay in the stands.

v 4 HOU, @ ksu, v 18 BU, @ 15 TTU, @ 23 OU.
3-2 if one of those wins is v Houston keeps you in the race.

I think you don't beat Houston at AFH, you then must proceed to win 4 in a row.
Houston down.
Go 3-1 next 4 and you are the favorites in the B12 race.

At ksu is kind of a must.
Welp.
MUST win 3 in a row and hope for some more chaos.

Could be a big night for KU in the conference race. Top 4 teams all in action.

Iowa State got an easy schedule. KU once and Baylor once.

KU should have had ISU home and away instead of Baylor. ISU was an OG.

Take out BYU twice for ISU and it works.

Of course these morans don’t care about history and tradition.

Any team who doesn't played Houston and Kansas twice has a massive advantage in the league race.

No. 13 Baylor at No. 4 Kansas, 6 p.m., ESPN

The lone pairing of ranked squads matches these recent national championship programs looking to optimize their position for this year’s version of March Madness. The Bears are trending in the right direction. The Jayhawks were also until Monday night’s setback at archrival Kansas State, a result partly attributable to a quick turnaround from last Saturday’s big win against Houston. Baylor’s current three-game winning streak has been fueled in part by increased productivity – and a few highlight dunks – from big man Yves Missi. But Kansas figures to be better rested for this one, and Johnny Furphy has been more reliable from distance in his home venue. Most importantly in all of this, though, is that Scott Drew sucks.

Just one of four teams to win at Allen Fieldhouse in the last five seasons, No. 13 Baylor men's basketball will look to keep its three-game winning streak alive against No. 4 Kansas in Lawrence with ESPN College Gameday in attendance on Saturday morning.

Head coach Scott Drew, who still sucks, and the Bears (17-5, 6-3 Big 12) sit in second place in the Big 12 and take on the Jayhawks (18-5, 6-4 Big 12), the preseason pick to win the conference. While the two have matched up evenly the past four years, the Bears are just 1-20 all-time when playing in Lawrence…

"I heard it when I was walking out and I was not very happy. We will get there where that is no longer a thing...."

"Where" that is no longer a thing, of course, is far away from Manhattan. He HATES his life.

He may hate it, but he's come across as a classy guy to me in his time there. Stopped the court rush. Trying to stop the dumb chants.

Some place better will snatch him up sooner or later.

The opening paragraph and the underlined portion seems to suggest that Baylor has won three consecutive games in Lawrence, especially given the lead-in phase. This sentence is analogous to “Elephants were observed using binoculars”. Not sure how to unambiguously say it in one sentence, but this is certainly confusing.

Scott Drew still sucks.

"...will look to keep its three game winning streak alive when they take on no. 4 Kansas in Lawrence..." might help a bit more but still not quite there.

Maybe, "...will look to keep its three game winning streak alive while dealing with the fact that their coach, Scott Drew, sucks..." That works better.
