Yep. In my opinion that's the only reason it was a double tech, cause of hunters reputation.
Only person that should've possibly got a tech was the tcu that wasn't involved in the initial tie up, but ran in like a minute after the dead ball to wrestle hunter

It was a double technical because it continued LONG after the refs got involved and told them to knock it off. HD made his point, he should have knocked it off once the refs stated to do so. Beyond that and you're just posing as a tough guy.

It was a double technical because it continued LONG after the refs got involved and told them to knock it off instead of HD making his point by being the strongest one and ripping the ball away in the first couple seconds like he shoulda.

And, they were all smiling. Nobody was being super aggressive. I actually thought it was sort of funny in the moment, apparently Self did not share the same feelings. He was pissed!

How to get thrown out of a game when you're clumsy and try to be a tough guy but end up throwing an accidental elbow.

Yes. Ripping it away aggressively would have resulted in only HD getting a T instead of the offsetting one they gave.
