It seems like you don't know very many religious people....

Most people, religious or not, don't really give a shit about who a person has sex with (assuming both are adults).

There's a vocal minority, at least in some places I'm sure, that are against same sex marriage/relationships, but that number is small and decreasing by the day.

There's also black people who hate white people, and white people who hate black people, and so forth and so on....but again, most of us are not racist and are not anti-gay, regardless of politcal party preference

I will never understand why both sides try to paint certain groups as villains making broad generalizations. The right does it about minorities. The left does it about religious people. (There are other examples on both sides no doubt)....

95%+ of the "religious" people I know are nothing like some of you portray them as when trying to bash "the religious right". Most people are good people.
