Is "soy boy" supposed to be a slam against people with reasoning skills?

It’s just (genuinely) part of the much broader program of rejection of expertise.

i suspect "soy boy" is some sort of perverted inside joke. that only those from the land of fruits and nuts can understand.
i'd google it. but i am afraid of what it will unearth.

like, “I am boy”

I hope that the Governor and the Legislature pass an emergency bill and essentially “deduct our aid at source” - have the employers funnel all their federal tax deposits from employee withholding through the State coffers. At that point transmit $0.70 for every $1 collected and apply to disaster relief. Congress can then allocate funds and apply to the State for the underpayment. Take it up with the Courts if the Federal Government has a problem.
Courts haven’t been true to the law before; so the precedent has been set

Boring, but in this context (and so many others),
order of operations matters.

Looks like he at least knows what year it is and how to go potty by himself. That, alone, is a vast improvement over the last POTUS.

Moments after the Supreme Court upheld Congress’s ban Friday on the popular video-sharing app, Trump claimed he would be making a “decision” regarding its future in the American market, potentially sidestepping two branches of the U.S. government.
“It ultimately goes up to me, so you’re going to see what I’m going to do,” Trump told CNN’s Pamela Brown. “Congress has given me the decision, so I’ll be making the decision.”
wait, what?
i’m not sure that’s how it works, bub

Well, as of Monday his sycophants will control all three branches of government, so there is that.
