I never said he was unimpeachable. I did say that he has been right more often than not. Does that mean I'd bet my life on his word? No. Does it mean I trust him more than any other source or combination of sources? No. Does it mean that I would factor his insights into my decision-making rather than just trusting the word of the government outright? Absolutely.

Re: mitigation plans, I had a whole house generator installed. I have six months' worth of emergency provisions and an emergency water filtration system for me and my family. I also have my gun and my ammunition on hand. Not perfect, but better than most people I know.

So you prepared your personal safe space for the zombie apocalypse, but you've done nothing to prepare your workplace or your community for the coming shutdown? Have you even notified the rest of the leadership team at your college that you believe this is coming? If you believe this is coming, don't you have a responsibility to try to mitigate it for your staff and students as well?

Do you believe this is coming in October or were you just recklessly spouting off what you think is likely to be bullshit?
