This still acknowledges the risk that you asked about but presents your stance on what you expect the successes of Texas will be.
And again, i just don't agree that losing another game or 2 a season will decrease their support.
I also don't think winning is their top priority. Money is.

And the argument is these go hand in hand over time.
Not one or two seasons.
But several.
Loosing another 2 games a season would put them around where I said would hurt them, which is .400 ball.
5-7 year after year rather than 7-5, 8-4 would decrease their support.

Great thread over there.
The main thing i noticed is no Trad or Brocoach posts (as far back as i went).
Makes me think it'd be a cool place to hang, but out of respect i will stick to every other thread but that one.

Dead horse. We all hope that after torpedoing the conference they effectively ran to their own benfit, UT bottoms out. And OU. Killing the golden goose which got them this far. Hoping for a bigger goose. And finding it was an electric shot to the ass.

The forces that allowed them to be big dog in the SWC/Big 12 was their golden goose. They stood out. Then they became their own worst enemy and began to believe they were entitled. Arrogance has brought many institutions down.

Same. It sucks not playing OU and Texas, but the new additions will be fun. Maybe we can win a few more football games.
