We all expected Remy to take over, but he wasn't capable of being anything other than a scoring punch off the bench. Because you need your PG to run offense, and not just chuck shots. PGs have to make the players around them better, it's in the job description.

We've known EXACTLY what DHs role would be the last several years. Only hater ass fans expected a guy like Yesufu (now at WVU) or Pettiford (now at some small school) to replace DH.
I dunno if "replace" is the right word. But I think a LOT of fans at least expected Yes and/or Bobby to contribute something.

remember when Bobby had that stretch in conference play in which he'd check in and promptly turn it over as soon as he touched it for like 8 games in a row? As a sophomore, too!

Do you think Dajuan would have played as many minutes as he did last year if Arterio didn't turn out to be a predator and stayed outta trouble, and/or if Elmarko lived up to the one-and-done hype he was getting prior to the season?

or, if you wanna focus on 2022 - if Jalen doesn't get a dui like a week before the season, who starts?

Once Jalen comes back, and Remy doesn't get the injury/doghouse thing, who starts? Do you keep Jalen coming off the bench?

Well, considering we know what we know now, Jalen is a lot better at basketball than Remy....I think that answers your question.

KY went from double digits at his previous school to like half a donut's worth here, so that fits the trend.

Graves was a juco transfer, can't find his stats prior to KU, but I bet they were better than once he got here.

Rex Walters actually pretty much held his statistical production, but that's getting way too roiboi for me.

I mean I guess Graves was a roi recruit, but not a roiboi, cuz he at least had BofH appeal.

*We have 8 in 7 seasons.

*I didn't forget - I just looked back at the years and 'forgot' Doston bc as soon as I knew 2020 had a AA ( the better one who shoulda been 1st team ) I moved on

I actually have to visibly look at the years now starting at 2024.
This is my mistake.
We have 8 seasons of our last 10 where we had an AA.

One season we had 2.
9 AA's in 10 seasons.

Without looking it is either Dotson and Dok or KM and HD.

And if it wasn't KM and HD it would have been if KM didn't get hurt.

Dotson and Dok is correct.
Kevin was a leading candidate, got hurt, but then wouldn't risk his draft stock in a do or die game to try and play, so he didn't make 1st or 2nd team AA.

2024: Hunter
2023: Jalen
2022: Ochai
2020: Dok ( robbed of 1st team ), Dotson
2019: Dedric
2018: Vonte
2017: BIFM
2016: [ ousdahl can't think of him ]

2015 and 2021 no AA.

Hi, my name is Braden Smith and I just led my team to the National Championship, and i'm a pass first point guard.

( yes, I am a pass first point guard, please don't bring up butbutbut 12 PPG as your rebuttal )
Yeah. He carried zach edey. Good point. Braden carried Purdue right to the finish line...

Pass first pgs still exist. But go back a few decades.... and compare it to today. The pass first point is disappearing. Everybody wants to score. I'm sure you agree.

Personally, I love the pass first pg. Maybe I'm just a purist, but guys that put winning as their top priority are some of my favorite. It's why I think so highly of jrue holiday, and even dajuan

Dajuan had limitations tho. I'd love if he was a pass first style pg with the ability to go get a bucket at will
