WTF?
Can't help but question if this is a lack of "chemistry" on display.
What was it?
That linky no worky
People think AD didn't celebrate enough because he wasn't standing for before the shot LeBron made to break the record.
The video conveniently cuts off right before he stands up.
Not sure why people expected AD to celebrate like HE won a championship for LeBron breaking a record, especially when AD was having a shit game and the Lakers were losing an important game. But whatever. People love to make something out of nothing.
Nothing or not....
I don't know why anyone would expect him to celebrate like he won a championship.
I do feel he should have been happy for his teammate. Don't you?

How do we know he wasn't? He said very nice things about LeBron in his post game press conference.
AD is injury prone. He was on the bench getting a rest. Was he supposed to stand up every time LeBron touched the ball? I certainly don't think so.

Ok, you and I see it differently.
What we shouldn't see differently is the fact that there were people who probably make less than $100K a year that paid more than a thousand dollars to attend the game last night - to be there and stand (and cheer and celebrate) when LeBron broke the record.
Anthony Davis GOT PAID close to $500K - to be there and sit on his ass when LeBron broke the record.
Moving on - sort of.

Beav and I were joking about what if it came down to an end-game situation in which the lakers were down 3 and also Lebron 3 points from the record…
Lebron takes a 3 at the buzzer, makes it! New record holder! OT!
…but then, refs review, toe on the line, lakers loose, lebron’s gotta get the record next game.

This movement to photograph/record everything is so dumb.
There will be plenty of photos better than the one you could take of LeBron's shot.
It's painstakingly dumb.

There’s a certain meta irony to this:
who took that picture?

See the bottom left of the image - A person who is getting paid to be there to take photographs.

Right! Bron's kids are sitting there with him - with phones in their hands.

My fav will always be the Big Dipper. Most points scored in a single game (100), and the fact that he attended KU.

In other words, AD is the only guy on the team who gave a sh*t that his team was losing?
Well, in his defense, that very well may be true.

What do you notice about this photo - taken the night LeBron broke the scoring record?
Besides Phil Knight, John Donahoe (CEO of Nike), Bronny, and Bryce sitting together.

Correct. Maybe. All depends on who you consider to be the GOAT.
On a related note, Donahoe is wearing LeBron's shoes.
I saw Donahoe in the Nike store in Chicago during All Star weekend in 2020. The guy can literally wear any Nike product he wants. He was wearing a $50 boring sweatshirt with some $50 boring sweatpants and some $120 boring shoes. I didn't get it - and I still don't.

Ok, this is bizarre to me. He clearly sees her being interviewed and he completely ignored her.
Before you rip on him.....

I mean, ok. good for him.
it'd be a lot cooler "wholesome" if he randomly sat next to someone in the 200 or 300 level or something. Courtside seats tells me she's not totally unaccustomed to what most people would consider once in a lifetime opportunities
