Like the 2018 championship game, there is no advantage and no way to know if he was actually an inch over on the field. A new low for the NFL every week

It really is just playing against the officials at this point.
You just have to hope they don’t decide to get you.

Maybe they should just stop committing penalties

This is the most undisciplined, unfocused team of the Mahomes era. It will be an interesting offseason to see how well they address the major issues they have on their roster. Maybe they still make some noise in the postseason, assuming they make it. Lots of question right now for sure.

Our WR group is the worst in the NFL.
We can’t overcome that and poor officiating and hope to win.
We will need to invest this offseason.

I think the Chiefs have serviceable WRs. Moore needs to go. Nagy is a problem. Mahomes needs to get out of the pocket and I have to believe he is being coached into blitzes.
I have never seen a neutral zone infraction cost a team two important wins before. The refs ignored Miller's crucial offsides on the next play though. The game on crunch time hinged on an electric football game being thrown upside down and your buddy destroying the remainder. Just awful

I’m sure you could go through a game and find 10+ of that infraction. I guess you have to call it even at crunch time but the inconsistency is the main issue.

MVS is overpaid. He has what, 20 catches this season?
Toney is a gadget player and just not an actual good WR.
Watson would be fine as your no. 4 kinda guy.
Skyy Moore can’t catch or run routes correctly.
Rice is a keeper.

Yeah. And you never see it on a receiver because it is too far to judge. Bail out. But as I said, the NFL seems done with the Chiefs. For all the fans whining about the Chiefs shouldn't be in close games that come down to judgement calls, all five losses are likely playoff teams.

I believe the Chiefs really miss Juju. Not enough experience beyond Watson and Kelce.

EB was a big loss. Nagy not so much. You were right Gutter

I don’t think Bienemy called the plays ultimately. It’s always Andy. Apparently we do miss his fire and gumption—but it also got some players pretty pissed at him and it’s an issue in Washington now too.
I blame personnel more than coaching.
If our players could catch the ball we would have at least two more wins.
We should have signed Thielen or Hopkins.

There’s not a WR on this team who could start for another NFL team. Worst group in the league.

I think Rice would ( not as their number one or even two ) on several teams.
That’s it.
Not a chance at anyone else.

Chiefs 3 and out with 7:00 left in the fourth quarter was just unacceptable and shows where this team is just not setting itself up for success.
Drive starts with a 2 yard first-down run, which was very predictable and is basically a wasted down. But now it’s 2nd and 8.
Mahomes carved up Buffalo in the 2nd and 3rd quarters doing 2 things: getting the ball out quickly or getting out of the pocket.
So instead of going back to either of those, you decide to have him stand in the pocket and rely on his mediocre offensive line to look for receivers 20 yards down field.
They always seem to do that - go for huge plays downfield when simply picking up first downs is the strategic play. Instead, 3 and out, and Buffalo gets the time-killing FG drive to win the game.
Also, why isn’t Rice even on the field for the 4th and 15 last play of the game? He and Mahomes connected on maybe the best pass of the entire season a few snaps before that (which was also a clear, unflagged DPI) and is the only wideout who’s shown any promise making tough catches and picking up yards.
Toney’s drop against Detroit, MVS against the Eagles, and Toney’s offside now bring the Chiefs to 3 home games lost because those two couldn’t execute in the last two minutes.

Buffalo played rested. Played well. Played with Von Miller. KC needs to score more. That ticky tack call on Toney negated a great play call. Getting Mahomes out of the pocket will cure a lot of issues.
Oh, and the Chiefs WRs outplayed Buffalo's
