Yeah. He carried zach edey. Good point. Braden carried Purdue right to the finish line...
Sigh.
You are as bad at reading comprehension as Joseph Lowry Yesufu was at shooting the 3.

kinda crazy that from like 2004-2014 we only had like...3? Despite comparable team success

of the top of my head: Wayne, Sherron, TRob.

Oh yeah!

So maybe it’s more comparable.

I was gonna ask which era produced more NBA talent, but that’s prob comparable too

Death, taxes, and Billy Eugene Self.

Yes, he has limitations. As do most college players that stay for more than 1 or 2 years.

If he had the ability to get a bucket at will then he'd be in the NBA already, because he's already the best facilitator in CBB that I can think of.

Hell, I think Ben in 2013 was one.

Devon could get to the bucket at will but didn’t exactly work out in the NBA.

I think there’s a LOT of college players who stay more than 1 or 2 years who develop more complete games than Dajuan (and KJ…and Hunter)

We all expected Remy to take over, but he wasn't capable of being anything other than a scoring punch off the bench. Because you need your PG to run offense, and not just chuck shots. PGs have to make the players around them better, it's in the job description.

We've known EXACTLY what DHs role would be the last several years. Only hater ass fans expected a guy like Yesufu (now at WVU) or Pettiford (now at some small school) to replace DH. There is a reason those guys aren't starting at Duke or UNC.
I don't disagree with any of this, but we really need him to be able to hit his layups and floaters at a higher rate.

He had the elite quickness, but wasn't quite big enough. And not a good enough outside shooter

Kevin was a leading candidate, got hurt, but then wouldn't risk his draft stock in a do or die game to try and play, so he didn't make 1st or 2nd team AA.

2024: Hunter
2023: Jalen
2022: Ochai
2020: Dok ( robbed of 1st team ), Dotson
2019: Dedric
2018: Vonte
2017: BIFM
2016: [ ousdahl can't think of him ]

2015 and 2021 no AA.
Anyone finish this layup for BDick?

Ohhhhh boy BDick's not gonna like this:

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... on-top-100

"37. Dajuan Harris Jr.
Kansas Jayhawks | G | Senior

Harris is back in Lawrence to chase his second national championship. He started 39 of 40 games as a sophomore during the Jayhawks' title-winning campaign, and he has started every game the past two seasons. He's a dogged on-ball defender and a steady playmaker who runs the offense and gets the ball to his teammates in the right spot. Also a capable 3-point shooter if defenses leave him open."

Also ranked:
87. Zeke
69. KJ
31. Storr
4. Hunter

( 41. Tyon Grant Foster )

It's cool to see Dajuan ranked that high.

As I've articulated, here's to hoping he brings some of that final-season-in-the-program magic for us.

As I've also articulated, I'm not sure I agree with "dogged on-ball defender." I know it's just one exhibition but other posters were pointing out in the Cal game thread, he looked like a freshman against a...well, freshman. And after 5 years of watching him, just dunno if he has the speed and strength to stay in front of an elite guard one-on-one. He's more effective as part of a team/system defensive scheme - and fortunately Self teams tend to play good defense as a team/system.

But, if there's a good takeaway from Arkansas, it's that maybe he has the potential to drop 20+ for us again, particularly if a game gets ugly and comes down to guards making buckets happen, as is so often the case in the tourney.
