Depending on what happens, I’d put myself in quarantine for a couple weeks before I visit anyone. I’ve encountered way too many oblivious tourists lately, and wouldn’t wanna be the one to taint the empire.
That's a good plan. I don't think they are happy to see folks from the "outside" right now. Defix heard a plague of Front Rangers showed up last weekend and cleaned out some of the stores on the main highways and hauled it all back to Denver. Luckily our little town is far enough off the highways that few even know it is there. It would be good if it stays that way for the next couple of months. If you get desperate let me know and I will tell you who to contact in town to give you a key.

Just don't puke on Big Blue, I couldn't forgive you for that.

Maybe.

I saw both numbers and assumed the bigger was a typo.

Hope I'm wrong.

Prediction: before this is over, Cuomo strangles DeBlasio with his bare hands.

Hey everyone - You can't congregate in a restaurant in Chicago and our President suggested not to be in a group of more than 10 people and to "social distance" yourself but you can stand in line at grocery stores with literally a hundred other people and have people who are within 2 feet of you cough on you. Those same people are then putting their items on "the belt" and paying with cash.
We live in a really fucking stupid country with terrible political leaders. I guess I realized that long before the virus took control of the country. Just venting.

Simple math if you look at the timelines. They wouldn't be back until May, anyway.

I fear this will happen here in Chicago. And my oldest daughter is in her final semester of high school.

Or, in other words, she's ecstatic.

My fiancée went through MDW yesterday. Place was empty. I tried getting her home sooner. Any later and she'd be stuck. Weird that I was relieved she was going through MDW and not ORD.

Didn't know you were engaged. Congrats! I think.
Glad she didn't get stuck!
Strange thing is I can look out my window and watch the flight pattern when planes fly in from the east landing at O'Hare. I have seen no planes in the past half hour or so. Possible it's a weather thing but it's completely clear with very little wind.

So many routes grounded, and Europe is obviously on hold.

Also had a friend land at IAD last night from Europe. All those tests Trump touts? Yeah, they aren't being done.

Mine is pissed.

No graduation. No prom. Possibly no chance to move out to the dorms in August. Plus, trapped at home with little brothers.
