We all agree it's wrong to use taxpayer money to bribe a country to help the President personally.
We all agree that is most likely what he did.
We all agree that the WH is blocking those that can turn it from "likely" to "definite" from testifying.
Is that correct?
The right thing to do then is to have everyone testify, Mulvaney, Bolton, Hunter Biden, everyone, and then make a decision. Forcing testimony would need to be expedited because not doing so puts the upcoming election's integrity in question.
That is what the house should have done. I can't understand why they wouldn't go that route - unless there is no mechanism for expediting legal decisions for the sake of national security.
I don't disagree. I'd add Rudy, VPOTUS Biden, Clapper, and Brennan to the list as well.
The point, however, is that McConnell meets the constitutional stipulation for a trial however he damn well pleases. And pissing and moaning about "process" now is kinda high-lariously hypocritically stupid.
I'm not defending the process the Democrats took. But that doesn't change what the right thing to do going forward is.

What the hell does either Biden, Clapper and Brennan have to do with extorting the Ukraine?
If the things Guilianni is chasing are true - that does, to some extent, lessen the case for impeachment.

How many different ways do you think Trump's attorney Bill Barr would attempt to keep them from testifying?
how very 3-year old of you
lulz
Every post of yours today has been a foot-stomping toddler-esque tantrum.

You should stop holding your breath when you pout. It's having adverse effects.
The GOP didn't know or understand the relevance until it/Mueller/Nunes (whose memo was right, BTW. Leave your apologies anywhere you want)/Horowotz, etc. started drilling down into the origins of the Russia probe.
The real question you should be asking is why didn't anybody in the Democratic Party care. Evar.

Just heard an interesting take on the House’s decision to not submit the articles to the Senate:

Not 1 damn thing.
The only corruption that interests Trump is something he can get rich off of.

Either way.

Personally, I wish the House would’ve used the Courts. I don’t how many times, dozens, when contentious issues are put before a federal judge, and the judge (not a Magistrate), will order, “File your Motion tomorrow, you file your response in 48 hours from the file stamp, and you have 24 hours for your reply. We will then have a hearing the next day at 7:00 pm because I am in a jury trial. Ms. Court Reporter, does that give you time for supper? Okay I will see you on Friday at 7, and I will have my ruling by Sunday. And, whoever is aggrieved better be ready to appeal because I am suspending the rules. You will have two days to file an appeal.” Because an appeal deadline is jurisdictional, you don’t mess with that.
These coast law firms work on a 24 hour basis. I witnessed it last night with a colleague staying at work until 11 as a local counsel for a New York firm because that is when the firm wanted something filed. I was there because I had an expert disclosure due.
The point is that our courts don’t mess around. That resource should have used.

And for that matter, why is shit like Bolton taking so long?

Because this is all kabuki theater with no legal or Constitutional merit, and both sides know it.
The Dems are throwing a temper tantrum that began three years ago when Dowdy didn’t win, and this is the best retribution they could come up with. They’d be embarrassed if they had any self awareness, but when you realize the are represented by Mensa candidates like Fauxcahontas and The Waitress, you are forced to lower the bar considerably.
I can’t wait to see the reaction when Trump wins in 2020.

Those are completely irrelevant in regards to the impeachment case. A few FBI agents passive-aggressively acting to investigate Trump has nothing to do with using tax dollars to leverage a bribe to help his political campaign.

How golden - you calling Warren a "Mensa candidate".
Let me guess, you actually believe you are a smarter person than she is?
As far as your ridiculing AOC for having been a waitress, I can't help but recall when the snide asshole named Rudolph William Louis Giuliani ridiculed Obama during the RNC for having been a community organizer - and the ______________ laughing in unison. How did that work out for them?

Life hack!
so my parents keep bugging me about why I haven’t sent them their Christmas presents yet.
Finally I just said, I’m not sending them unless you investigate the Bidens.

Yes, I would venture that I am smarter than Fauxcahontas, and I am not a baldfaced, manipulative liar like she is, either.
The AOC reference is from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. You wouldn't really get it unless you watch the show, but she is kind of a nameless, insignificant peripheral character, and the running joke is that nobody knows her name and it makes her furious. That's kind of how I see her.
And, no, I don't think that being a "community organizer" is a real job.
