You're right. Crazy people should be allowed to menace innocent people on the subway with impunity. Great precedent.
If that's what I'd said, you've have a point.
I didn't, so you don't.
But, you're OK with the perp being the judge and jury and deciding to kill someone because he felt "menaced"?
He didn't decide to kill him, and he wasn't the only one who felt menaced. Multiple witnesses said they feared for their safety. Multiple people helped him try to restrain the man. He applied the choke hold to subdue him after he refused to calm down. When the man went unconscious, he let go and put him in recovery position, watching over him until paramedics arrived. That's not being judge and jury. That's being tired of the consequences of the defund the police movement and stepping up to protect people around him.

I'll go out on a limb and guess that's why they charged him with manslaughter, and not murder.

not enough pilots? maybe we should fly less.
I think I speak for the normal people who aren't claustrophobic when I say: What!?
im just sayin.....
I havent been on a plane in....14 years? my life hasn't ended.
Ive gotten shit in the past for driving a truck, which I 100% need to make a living and do the things I need to do to live. There is an incredibly small amount of people in this world that need to fly.

Pretty sure one end of the bell curve enjoys far, far more air travel than “normal people.”
Oh, you travel for work? The vast majority of that can be zoomed.
Oh, you travel that much for leisure? Well joke’s on you cuz the real leisure travel flex nowadays is submarines.

I blame evil rich person Leon. In June of 2016 Leon predicted there would be driverless cars in two years:
"I really consider autonomous driving a solved problem. I think we are probably less than two years away."
Had it come true, I'd be less likely to fly to KC to visit my 95 y/o mother. I like road trips, but now it's two full days on the road, each way. If I could just set the GPS and get there ~ 21 hours later, reading and rocking out, &/or sleeping, flying wouldn't seem as necessary.

Between 2015 and 2018 it would be a great luxury if 14 days passed between times I was on a plane! Almost 165,000 actual miles flown in 2017 - about 85% was “essential work travel”.
