Thanks for demonstrating once again what the supporters of Trump have most in common--dislike and disdain for women.HouseDivided wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 10:43 pmBecause this is all kabuki theater with no legal or Constitutional merit, and both sides know it.
The Dems are throwing a temper tantrum that began three years ago when Dowdy didn’t win, and this is the best retribution they could come up with. They’d be embarrassed if they had any self awareness, but when you realize the are represented by Mensa candidates like Fauxcahontas and The Waitress, you are forced to lower the bar considerably.
I can’t wait to see the reaction when Trump wins in 2020.
This is tangential, but regarding AOC, there are a hell of a lot more waitresses in this country than there are Wall Street bankers. Why shouldn’t they get proportionate representation in our democracy?HouseDivided wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 10:43 pmBecause this is all kabuki theater with no legal or Constitutional merit, and both sides know it.

Sea - I am usually kind and respectful towards you. I'm trying really hard to be nice here but I am having a difficult time in regards to you previous post. PLEASE give it a rest. You know I was responding to a question about why the GOP didn't care about Hunter Biden in 2014, right?Mjl wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 11:23 pmThose are completely irrelevant in regards to the impeachment case. A few FBI agents passive-aggressively acting to investigate Trump has nothing to do with using tax dollars to leverage a bribe to help his political campaign.DCHawk1 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 8:15 pm
The GOP didn't know or understand the relevance until it/Mueller/Nunes (whose memo was right, BTW. Leave your apologies anywhere you want)/Horowotz, etc. started drilling down into the origins of the Russia probe.
The real question you should be asking is why didn't anybody in the Democratic Party care. Evar.
Good for you, Grandma! You win some major sanity points in my book. We don't agree on much, but I think we do agree that people can disagree and still be good people.Grandma wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 10:31 amSea - I am usually kind and respectful towards you. I hate to break it to you but there were probably 30 million women who voted for Trump in 2016. Not all of them have "dislike and disdain" for women. My guess is of the 30 million or so men who voted for Trump - most of them don't have "dislike and disdain" for women either.
It has to be terrible to feel and believe that so many people are misogynistic.
Yes, too many people are - but most are not. You come off as believing most men are misogynistic.
I simply don't believe that to be true.

Do you ever tire of trying to force this incorrect argument into every discussion? You're only saying that because of your deep-seated, maniacal disdain and disrespect for women.TDub wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 11:08 amDo you ever tire of trying to force this incorrect argument into every discussion? I was actually thinking of the % of Republican votes whose view are aligned with Psych's and it seems far higher than we would have thought prior to 2016. Perhaps some of the Republicans who voted for Trump don't have the vitriolic hatred for women that Psych routinely expresses here, but they voted for a man who like Psych let it be known that he was a Pussy Grabber and had bragged about being in control of teenage girls so as to see them in states of undress.Grandma wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 10:31 am

Pretty small sample size to be making pretty damning generic decisions about peoples character.
