Covid would need a 90%+ death rate for me to wear the BioVyzr.
0% for me. That thing's pretty sweet

When I saw it, I thought it could be great for long plane rides.

That would be good. I've been on a long plane ride in a mask. Highly uncomfortable if you are the slightest bit congested.

I coach a hockey team. Players/coaches/spectators have to wear a mask from the second they walk into the rink, right up until they walk out. Our temperature is taken as we walk in the door. Kids have to come dressed. We cannot enter the rink until 15 minutes prior. Spectators are limited to 2 per player. You must sign in at the door. Yes there is someone sitting at the door.
Putting our differences aside, you're a good person for coaching puck. Good to hear/read the kids are able to play and play safely.
I don't want to say anything to jinx what seems like it's working for you and the players/coaches/spectators but I have a bad feeling we are going to see/have a rough fall and winter in terms of not just covid but also the "regular flu".
Will be interesting to see how many people choose to wear masks during the flu season in the years to come. That's assuming I live through this "pandemic" - and for a few more years.

I dread the idea of having to wear a mask if/when I fly to Los Angeles.
It's not just the 3+ hours on the plane. It's getting to the airport, being in the airport, being on the plane, getting off the plane in L.A., getting a car, etc., etc., etc.
Still, I would rather wear a mask than a crazy contraption that would cost a lot of money and draw attention to myself.

Restrictions in my region of IL are set to roll back this weekend.
Well....our democrat mayor has basically said he will not listen to the governors orders anymore and that they are no longer enforcing restrictions set by the governor on small businesses.
Guess it isn't only republicans being stupid?

Of course local government is going to err on the side of protecting local business. Local and state governments can’t really deficit spend.
The best approach was for the federal government to use its spending powers to, yes, keep certain small businesses closed.

Fwiw many of the small businesses had met and decided they were going to defy the orders to close anyway.

Study determines that Trump’s spreader rallies have infected 30,000 and killed about 700 MAGA voters.

I just love the aggrieved indignation at “contagious pathogen spreads at event crowded by people not following protocols.”

Ha! Thanks. Forget we have people in a news bubble. Yeah. Stanford. Imagine how dangerous it is to live one’s life free of meaningful facts?

So, was Herman Cain’s death suicide or murder? Or negligent manslaughter?

Was he forced to attend the rally?
Seems more like suicide.
