Sporting KC announced a new broadcast plan today. This is a HUGE improvement over Bally Sports.

Absolutely massive and wouldn't be surprised to see more teams follow suit. You can get a ton of revenue from advertising and the like if you make games more available to more eyes.

I hated trying to stream games on Bally Sports as someone who doesn't live the immediate KC area. Their app stunk and didn't have native Chromecast support, if you wanted to cast games to your tv you had to use a laptop. Sure, I already pay for ESPN+, and this might be picky, but if I have the choice between Sporting KC's broadcast team or the opponent's like you sometimes get on ESPN+, I'd rather listen the SKC homers.

I'm guessing out of state viewers will still be able to watch on ESPN+, right?

Yep, if you live in Kansas and Missouri, you have the option to stream for free on the team website or app but if you live outside those markets, ESPN+ is still your go-to.

Reyna pulled after 28 minutes due to injury and tears in his eyes. Guy can’t catch a break.

He's been the best player the last 6+ matches for USMNT.
That's a brutal blow.

It really is.
You should still have the horses though to win at home v Panama.

The injuries to Reyna and McKennie will open up huge opportunities for Musah, Busio, Aaronson and de la Torre.
And, as much as I don't like him, Kellyn Acosta can probably lock up a World Cup roster spot if he plays as well as he did against Honduras.
I think the USMNT will be fine and should still easily qualify. Still sucks that two of our brightest young starts won't be available.

What's the math sitting now? Win against Panama and in?
Really think Musah and de la Torre have the biggest chance to shine with these absences.

Yes, the easiest path to qualifying is beating Panama. Although dropping to 5th is nearly impossible.

We are 4 ahead of Panama and 5 ahead of Costa Rica.
Basically you win 1 of the next 3 and you're very likely in.
Panama has an easy 3 home against Honduras but has a tougher final match v Canada.

Poland refusing to play Russia in WC playoff. Interesting to see what FIFA will do.
