Remember, we have a President who felt Mike Pence was a good person to lead the coronavirus "task force" just as he felt having a semi comatose brain surgeon run H.U.D. was a good idea.
Trump claims he only hires the best and then when those he hired leave him - they are losers, morons, etc. Fuck Trump!
To the people who are happy with and really want 4 more years of Trump and those he "appoints" - fuck you too.

I can’t wait for Trump to fire Fauci and replace him with like, Lil Wayne.

Oh your symptoms include a dry cough? Let’s clear that up with a little sizzurp.

It would be someone like Ben Carson. The qualifications being the biggest ass-kisser that has even a hint of medical background.

“Though the medical and scientific communities have come to agreement otherwise, were instead adopting this new Covid policy based on Trump’s hunch, which has now also been corroborated by Q...”

My wife's 95 year old grandmother, as well as 8 staff members and 35 other residents of her nursing home, just tested positive for COVID.

Ben Carson is the reason I will never use the term "It's not brain surgery" to describe something that is difficult or that requires skill. If Ben Carson can be a brain surgeon I could be a brain surgeon. Of course, I have a PhD in organic chemistry, so this may make me overqualified :D

But in keeping with putting incompetents in charge of various things, Ben Carson would be a fitting appointment

I'd trust him over Atlas.

Seriously, making Scott Atlas his top advisor on COVID, IMO, is the worst thing Trump has done. And that's saying a lot.

I'm sorry to read this!
I won't pretend to understand how they were able to keep all these people safe for months and then all of a sudden the major breakout.

I'll admit I have given too much thought to this conundrum and still can't figure out what I feel should and shouldn't be done - and how it could be enforced.
If they can figure out who the person is/was that is/was responsible for the breakout in the nursing home and prove that person didn't follow proper protocol, should that person face some form of SERIOUS criminal charge/s?

Criminal charges for catching a virus is ridiculous imo. Even people who follow proper protocol have caught it accidentally i am sure. Protocols aren't laws. And half the protocols are half assed anyway.

It is sad, but it is simply the reality we live in currently. Unfortunately nursing homes go thru scary times each year by trying to keep the flu out, now they have double worry trying to keep covid out. Most of the deaths in my city are from nursing homes. That environment is simply the perfect breeding ground for contagious viruses.

As soon as jb is elected today he is gonna wipe that fungus out lickity split. He told us so.

I’ve already thrown out my masks, hand sanitizer. Liquidated the toilet paper stash. Booked a flight.

He’s gonna wipe it out so fast. He told us so.

I just saw this, best wishes to you grandmother and all affected.
Mrs 99's best friend's daughter is in the ICU and just came off the ventilator. Kid is like 25 and otherwise healthy. But seems to be getting better.

The only people who have been allowed in or out of the facility since March are staff so that must be how it got in. If I had to guess at the most likely scenario I'd say that a nurse was picking up shifts somewhere else and not reporting it to the facility, contracted it and then infected the place. Initially it was the 8 staff members and just 2 residents. But again, purely speculation on my part.

I dont think criminal charges are warranted but whoever did it will have a stain on their soul forever. That's a forever mistake. We'll see. My wife's grandma is a muleheaded firecracker so fingers crossed.
