We expect the government to clean up our mess?? Exactly, what's wrong with you people? It seems that we have no trouble organizing a protest march that does absolutely nothing but anger or frustrate. So instead of griping about the mess, how about all the do gooders share their pride in America and organize a clean up campaign. It's not that complicated.

I can't tell if you're serious.
You would like to go back to the days of throwing garbage in lakes and literal shit all over the place?

Probably not. I think he means if you see a piece of trash or garbage along your way, bend over and pick it up.

This is precisely how government infantilizes its people.
The public shouldn't have access to public lands...because they can't take care of themselves...because they don't feel they should have to...because government does that.
If only William Forster Lloyd had warned us!

Those pictures are shameful. What a nation of lazy ass pigs we are. How hard is it to take your garbage home and dispose of it properly? Blaming the government is not the answer.

The Park Service is there to protect the public lands from the public. Try picking wildflowers in Yellowstone, removing stalactites from Carlsbad, carving your name into a Sequoia, or just tossing trash in any public land and see what the fine/jail time is. Those same texans that ousie deals with also show up in National Parks and Forests and unfortunately, need a babysitter.

Your take on this is embarassing. The mental gymnastics it takes to avoid holding Trump responsible for his hissy fit is both alarming and not surprising.

Probably not. I think he means if you see a piece of trash or garbage along your way, bend over and pick it up.
But that has never been what happens when people are given that responsibility. Talk all you want about how it should be, I'll stick with reality.

It's just an argument to argue and not based in reality. If their stupid argument held across the board then restaurants can fire servers and dishwashers since people should be able to carry their plates and wash them when done.

Privatize but with some regulations, yeah.
