Well, I AM a college professor. But I don't think I'm a teacher because I spent a couple weeks at home with my kids. That's asinine and quite frankly, insulting.

Look at this high and mighty teacher out here. He IS a college teacher. Moving from teaching low lifes on this board to getting a cushy tenure track teacher position, in a matter of minutes. I'm impressed, but we are all teachers. So you have a lot to learn.

we've all been learning about a virus...guess we're all doctors now too. Been cooking at home too....guess we're all chefs now. I rewatched A Few Good Men so I've got a JD now. I built a new rock garden, guess that makes me an engineer.

This pandemic is really enhancing my CV.

You take a simple lighthearted comment about how all of us with kids are trying to figure out how the fuck to teach our kids while also juggling our full time jobs in an effort to display some simple "we're all in the same boat" camaraderie and you can even be a fucking asshole about that.
