Finding New Shit on TV
Re: Finding New Shit on TV
I mean, I can't prove that I did, and you can't prove that I didn't. So, I guess it's unknowable.

Sorry, do you not "think, therefore you are?"
Re: Finding New Shit on TV
No.
If I understand the rules of this board correctly, absence of evidence is evidence of absence.
Therefore, unless and until you can prove you exist, you don't.

I just worry that me talking about something like this will trigger people to start manufacturing their own prescription drugs and hurting themselves.

Some people get pleasure from watching celebrities showing the underside of their chins on webcams from inside their mansions and people talking over each other because of delays in video streaming while telling us all from inside their palacial homes overlooking oceans that we're all in this together and we'll get through this tough time while many are unemployed, or perhaps worse, still working in public.PhDhawk wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 12:14 pm More videos of celebrities showing me the underside of their chins on webcams from inside their mansions and people talking over each other because of delays in video streaming. That's almost better than a vaccine.
I hope they tell us all from inside their palacial homes overlooking oceans that we're all in this together and we'll get through this tough time while many are unemployed, or perhaps worse, still working in public.
Some people get pleasure from coming on kansascrimson.com and bickering and being assholes towards other people who are going through a tough time.
If I had more of the former I MIGHT choose less of the later. That's just me. I don't expect others to agree. As I too often say, to each their own.

All of which is proof that you are essentially evil and irresponsible. People will die, and it will be YOUR fault! Why won’t somebody think of the children?!?PhDhawk wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 1:03 pmI just worry that me talking about something like this will trigger people to start manufacturing their own prescription drugs and hurting themselves.

I think I deserve an assist on that one.

Several weeks ago I DVR'd "The Shape of Things to Come" from 1936. It predicted war and pestilence through the 70's then a Utopian society. Pretty cool to see their vision of an Art Deco air force.

Just finished watching Casablanca for the 100th time. Still a great movie.
Anyone watching The Plot Against America? Scary stuff.

Timeless, and the most quotable script possibly ever.

Netflix's Waco is interesting and full of good actors.

Waco is excellent. It was on paramount last summer. Very good.
