If our guys can stay healthy and not get hurt, we'll be the favorite this year.

If the Chiefs win their next 16 games, they'll be champions.

I may be a moron but I feel 90% of NFL QBs would also do really well with Kelce, Watkins, Hill, Hardman, Robinson, Edwards-Helaire, to go along with Reid and Bieniemy.
The thought of a potential Mahomes injury scares the crap out of me but I believe the Chiefs would still be the best team in the NFL with Henne starting.
You're insane if you think that 90% of NFL QBs could make the reads or plays that Mahomes does. Rodgers MIGHT be the only other NFL QB that could make that TD pass to Hardman. Full speed backpedaling at an angle opposite where he threw it and chucks it 50+ yards to the perfect spot for Hardman to make a play on it.

Come on.

I'm starting to believe you can put Josh Allen in this category ( NOT Mahomes-MVP category - but 'what the hell was that play' category ).
Watson, of course, can make insane throws under pressure, but I don't think the arm strength to chuck it like that while leaning back.

That's what the 49ers thought too.

They'd be the 1 seed after 13 games, they'd have a bye, and then would need to play three more games to win a title.

The Chiefs have to play the Bills, so if they won 16 games in a row, the Bills would be out of the running for the 1 seed.

The Steelers and the Titans play each other, so one of them would have to loose, or they'd both tie.

So I suppose, yes, if one of the Steelers or Titans gained on us in points DIFF ( which we currently lead ) AND they went undefeated, I suppose hypothetically we could end up as the 2 seed.

Also COVID could cancel the season entirely. Or robot dinosaurs could emerge from the Earth's core and the season would be suspended.

He almost signed with us not too long ago.
I don't think it's worth the risk - if you have locker room cohesion, and you just stomped the Ravens, I wouldn't want something to mess that up.
( though you'd have to think he'd be focused to take it to Baltimore again if he could )

He's 31. He's not the athlete he once was. He's also weird and not a great teammate.

No.

There is a reason why ET hasn’t been signed yet. So that’s would also be a no for me.

I wish they would have made more of a play for Jackrabbit Jenkins last year though.

I didn't say 90% of the NFL QBs could make the reads or plays that Mahomes does. I think NO ONE can.
What I did say is I feel "they would do really well" - with the weapons Mahomes has.
My guess is I am hardly alone in that thought.

For example, true or not, I believe Mahomes would not be as good of a QB on the Bears as he is on the Chiefs just as Trubisky would be a better QB on the Chiefs than he is on the Bears.
I still think Mahomes would be great on the Bears and Trubisky wouldn't be too good on the Chiefs but my point is Mahomes is fortunate to be surrounded by some incredibly skilled and athletic players - and to have Reid and Bieniemy coaching him and designing and calling the plays.
WITH Mahomes (and the others I have mentioned - including the coaches) the Chiefs Offense is the most dangerous Offense I have seen in my life.

I think the Chiefs would go 9-7/10-6 without Mahomes - slightly worse than an Alex Smith type season.
Henne has a lifetime QBR of 75.5 which is worse than any starting QB last season.

I stand corrected. Sneed broke his collar bone. No time table set for his return. Sunday should be interesting. Make it one more game and get Bree back.

Yikes, I saw him grab his collar bone, but was hoping it was a stinger. He'll be out until December. Really sucks for the young buck.

Yeah, no they wouldn't. Not playing a first place schedule.

Chiefs will try and get by against the Pats with Club Ward, Hamilton, Fenton and BoPete. Might even bring up Lavert Hill from the practice squad. Also wouldn't be surprised if we see Ty filling in as well.
