As ya'll know, I'm a boxer lover. Best dogs ever, IMO. Great with kids, goofy, playful, smart, can be stubborn, but overall, great dogs. I've been looking on a few rescue sites for another boxer (my boxer, Magnum, will be 9 in a few months, but he still acts like a goofball and loves to run). Crazy, I've had him since he was a puppy. I would love to get a puppy, but don't think it would be fair to him since I would have to spend a lot of time with a puppy and I don't want him getting super jealous or anything. We'll see.

Edit: Congrats Tdub. All dogs are awesome. Even my neighbors dog, Waldo, that barks all the fvcking time.

Saw in the other thread, but congrats on the new dog. Hopefully he/she isn't still barking at you after the drive home. 🤣

Surprisingly he slept all night. No barking or stirring from 1030 to 6. Ill count that as a win.

Now i need a name. My 2 picks were Leroy or Ledoux. But I've been outvoted so now hes currently nameless.

We got my then 6-mo-old daughter a pillow with a picture of Pongo from 101 Dalmatians and for the longest time she thought that Pongo meant dog! Anyway fast forward 24 years and she decided to get a dog and told her that she should call him Pongo, even though he wasn’t a dalmatian. She almost named him Pongo. Almost.

Sitting in a chair in a dark room with my third glass of scotch. I've seen people do it in movies and TV when sad. Does help dull the pain a little.
