Knowing how painful that would be, the thought of what it would take to be able to carve 6 letters into someone's flesh, does not evoke a pretty picture... (Who are these fucking people?)
I have to think that he'll want to have it removed, which means a wound the width and length of the word, and a skin graft. Which means he'll be dealing with the "repair" for months, and the scar(s) for the rest of his life.
