I think, with our complete domination of UNC in the tournament since Roi left, I don't really dislike UNC anymore. Roi is gone, new coach is likeable and they are rivals of Duke.

and like it or not, KU and unc (and ‘tucky, blech) will always be linked by history and coaching trees

such is not the case with the dookies

Same.

What are we 5-0 against UNC since Roy left?

I ain’t looking it up but off top of my head 08 we were a 1 they a 1.

12 we were a 2, they were a 1, but were missing a point guard, forget who but they went pro. 13 we were a 1, they were an 8, Harrison Barnes? This year, we a 1, they were an 8.

Must be missing a game.

No, I think you are right and that we have only played them 4 times since Roy left.

I don't remember any regular season matchups against them.
No tournaments.
We sure as hell weren't scheduling them when Roi was still at UNC - and vice versa.

One of my favorite Jayhawk memories will always be the curb stomping we put on UNC in 08

Yeah, I will always remember my phone call to my Mom at halftime with us both just saying "Wow, I can't believe this is happening". She almost didn't answer my call because she didn't want to jinx us and we didn't normally talk at halftime of games.

Without Roi, I don't feel much differently about Carolina than I do about UCLA or Indiana or Arizona or so on.

That's one of the shames of Wright leaving; that should have been the rivalry in college basketball for the next ten years.

I dislike Arizona a little more than the rest of those. Still not over '97. It's not Mizzou/KSU/Kentucky level dislike but it's more than Carolina/Indiana/UCLA.

I am curious to see if Duke can maintain elite status now that K is gone.

I like Nova better than I do UNC.
I think UNC is just not quite in the they're fine category but is right on that edge.

Hope a centralized meteor destroys their campus kind of hate: MIZZOU

Hate: Duke ( fans, just the bullshit pomp and circumstance ), Kentucky ( fans )

Dislike: Michigan ( fans ), Auburn ( bad mojo )

Kinda dislike but still could see myself cheering for them in the right scenario:
kansas state ( rival - but elevated to hate just when they play us ), Wichita State, Baylor ( coach ), Texas ( program ), Iowa State ( fans ), VCU, Bucknell, UNC, OU ( only recently for ditching the B12 )

They're fine: Lots of teams

Like em: NC State, Nova, all B12 teams sans Baylor/ksu/Texas/OU, Zags, Vermont, UMaine

Love em: KU

Most wins in March since 2010-2011:

KANSAS = 66

UK = 64
UNC = 62
Oregon = 62
Michigan = 57
Duke = 56

I think it just includes March. And not limited to NCAA tournament.
