The Chiefs had a very productive offseason. They were sharp today and Arizona is a good team. Quite the statement by KC.

Zona is middle of the pack and were down some players but yes, we manhandled them start to finish.

Next week v Herbert will be a better test ( though we can hope Keenan Allen needs a week off with his hammy ).

Well NFC West is gonna be 0-4 but I think the Rams and the 9ers are still better than the Cards.

Arizona did not finish first. They're on the Chiefs schedule b/c the AFC West plays the NFC West this year.

They also have a high school football coach and a baseball player for a QB. I’ll be surprised if this experiment is around in 2023

Cascadia and Plano never miss a chance to come pile on someone that has already been corrected.

Miserable existence to feel like that's fun/funny.

The Chiefs' offense is going to be even better without Tyreek Hill

This is the game I covered for Sunday NFL Countdown and, I have to tell you, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' offense looked pretty determined to tamp down the offseason concerns about how they were going to score points without Hill. They scored 44 of them Sunday in Arizona, routing the Cardinals 44-21 like nothing ever happened. They scored touchdowns on each of their first three possessions, led 23-7 at halftime and kept their foot on the gas in the second half.

"All offseason, everyone's asked us the questions about what's this offense going to look like," Mahomes said. "I always felt like we were going to go out there and put on a show, and we did that."

They sure did. Mahomes was 30-for-39 for 360 yards and five touchdown passes. He targeted 10 different receivers, completed passes to nine and touchdown passes to four. They rolled up 488 yards of total offense and picked up a first down on 33 of their 66 offensive plays. That is not a typo. It looked easy without Hill, and the Chiefs told us all along this would work. I don't know why anyone ever doubted them.”

No receiver had more than 9 targets (Kelce had 9) and 6 receivers had at least 3 catches. That's an offense that is going to find multiple ways to skin a cat.

The deep safety look over and over isn’t going to work this season.

Mahomes just missed Hardman in stride for what would have been a 50 yard plus TD.

Skye, MVS, Hardman and Pacheco have elite speed to stretch defenses at the same time.

For the AFC West? Agreed. Denver was way less impressive than I thought they would be. Wilson just doesn't have what made him special any more. He was accurate and smart with the ball but he just doesn't look electric any longer.

Looks like the Chiefs, Bills and Chargers will be the core battle to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl although the Bengals certainly won't turn it over 5 times a game all season and will have a say in it as well. The Ravens were also pretty good. Should be interesting for sure. the NFC power teams were noticeably less impressive.

Week 1 . . . It was in the last couple of years that the Chiefs fans here were calling Detroit an NFC contender after Week 1 or 2, lol.

Particularly with Russell Wilson, it was literally the first game he played with them having played 0 preseason snaps. Although, I still felt pretty confident picking the DEN over SEA.
