I had a pretty decent amount on Chiefs + 4.5.
Shoulda had the stones to go straight ML.

If Mahomes had thrown for 10 more yards and Rashee Rice caught 3 more of those yards I'd have cleaned up -- i.e. Bass makes that kick and Mahomes drives down the field with 2 timeouts for Butker to finish them off.

Does KU ever cover the spread this year?

I had UNC - 4.5, KU - 3.5, McCullar 15+ points and Harris 5+ assists last night.
The only thing I was sweating was KU covering 4 points...and they almost didn't.

Welcome to the getting Guttered club!
My example last night was teasing to 4.5 points. I had Duke laying 14.5 - and they won by 14. GUTTERED!

Well I had to pick ten games. That said, this was NOT one of the ones I was most worried about.

Two of the daily DK boosts didn't work yesterday, so they just issued a $10 bonus bet instead. I'll take it.

AZ/OR
2 minute mark AZ down 77-72. I bet them to win. Tied the game at 80 with about 10 seconds left in the game. Beaver Fever hit a 3 right before the buzzer to win. GUTTERED!

4 team teaser
Zags -3.5 (won by 5)
Santa Clara -3.5 (won by 23)
Oregon State +22.5 (won by 3)
Pacific +31.5 (lost by 191 - actually 76-28 final = 48)
GUTTERED!

I thought I had bet a 6 team NHL parlay.
Looked at the results and thought I had won.
Didn't bet it. WTF?!?!
GUTTERED!

And now I have 1,000 in bonus bets to mess with.

Do I properly bet those or go for gold since it’s “free money”?

Probably somewhere inbetween.

I saw the worst promo yet, yesterday - minimum bet of $50 on a player prop of first three in a game, and the promo is that you'd get a bonus bet back equal to $1 for every three made during the game.

I mean, take that Cs/Heat game yesterday - woulda been a $38 bonus bet. Nothing to sneeze at, I guess, but let's say you'll get $0.95 back on the dollar. So you get $19 for almost-certainly losing $50.

I think it's the minimum that bothered me. I don't want to lose money in chunks that are nearly that big. That doesn't make watching the games more fun.

No, someone but your guy hits the three and it's all over.
I like to bet small on games I watch and in those games it's always player props and full time lines - no quarters/halves/1st to scores.

Depending on how these first four bonus bets go, I may end up putting the last one all down on the CHIEFS ML. That's currently 660 bucks profit. We'll see.
