Love it! I used to run into Dante watching games at John Brown BBQ in Long Island City. I’m glad he’s still a huge Chiefs guy and gets some spotlight too.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I don't think there's a tiny chance that, especially with a win in a couple weeks, Travis decides to move along to broader pursuits.

are you saying you think the chance is large, or so nonexistent it’s not even tiny?

Yeah, I was unpurposefully vague. I think there is a real (but <50%) chance he hangs 'em up after this year. And I think that chance is higher with a win than with a loss.

i’d think better chance if they win

go out on top, ride off into the sunset to make babies with Swift, and take a shot at a mediocre acting career

I'm all in on the timeline where Travis catches the game winning TD next Sunday, retires Monday, and proposes to Taylor Swift the following Saturday.

Can you parlay it/that? ;)
I'm guessing you could get 45-1 odds.

That's my view, as well. My personal view is that getting to Gonzalez's counting stats is unnecessary to be widely considered the best to ever play the position.

yeah, i think he’s already there due in large part to his post-season stats

Yeah.

For all the Chiefs' saturation, it does not yet seem widely understood that Kelce is pretty much 1b to Jerry Effing Rice's 1a in postseason receiving stats.

right

there’s so much hate and conspiracy towards the Chiefs that many such accolades are being missed or under appreciated for what they are historically

(Just manifesting good things here: a 207 yard, 3 TD Super Bowl would (1) result in Kelce being the all-time postseason leader in receptions, receiving yards and receiving TDs, (2) be the best Super Bowl in receiver history and (3) almost certainly correlate with a threepeat.)

Yeah, but after he retires and then Swift dumps him and starts writing songs about their relationship, causing him to become severely depressed, is Andy still going to let him back on the team?
