@Tech we will need at least one of Dajuan or Kevin.
They aren’t top defenders which is in our favor. We have struggled on the road just generally but I think more so with the good defensive teams ( ISU, UCF, ksu ).

Yea I think that line is assuming at least one is out.
If either play id bet it shifts 1 or even pick em.

I think if either aren't close to 100% then you rest them and be cautious.

Gotta win out I think to keep up with Houston.
Not sure how that happens considering we have won one road game vs a shitty OSU team.

Seems unlikely with KM hurt. Although I think if we played UConn last night he'd have played. He didn't look very gimpy vs Houston, but I think he needs to sit to let it heal completely without aggravating it more.
Last night made me nervous for next year. Kj is a liability on offense if he has to be looked at as option #1 or #2 and the ball movement stagnates. He can hit that little mid range shot occasionally, but when he has to force it the success rate goes way down. When the ball moves he becomes very effective and gets great looks, but he's a system player.
Hunter's knee must still be giving him issues. He looked a step slow last night. And panic set in after he missed some looks early. Hunter is a great player, but he's still soft. Hasn't been in these types of games because his team at Michigan was bad. He wanted to be the man last night, but was unable to carry the load.

According to Bartorvik, we now have only a 2% chance at winning the B12, Houston an 83% chance.

we are halfway through february. i have seen enough to be pretty confident that this team is not winning any trophies this season.

Over/under NCAA tourney seed is set to 3.5.
We are 17th in NET.

I think KU drops at least 3 more games before Selection Sunday and ends up as a 4 or a 5 seed. Maybe they figure some things out when McCullar decides to play again, fingers crossed.

It’s prob to our benefit to keep the narrative something like, “but they’ll be a top team once again as soon as they get McCullar back”

His team at Michigan was bad?
Yes, last season his team was bad (still - above .500 in the Big 10) but....
His team at Michigan made it to the Sweet 16 in 22.
His team at Michigan had the best record in their conference standings and made it to the Elite 8 in 21 (further than Kansas got in the tournament).
