A war-criminal-defender as SecDef.

A creep-at-very-best as AG.

A Russian asset as DNI.

Pretty high price to pay for the promise of cheaper eggs.

even some of the conservative outlets are a little concerned about Gabbard and Gaetz

I'm just glad there doesn't need to be even a week of, "see, he's NOT doing all of those things you crazy libs said he would do!"

By the way - did Trump know about Gaetz being under congressional investigation for sex trafficking when Gaetz talked him into the AG nomination this morning?

Or did Gaetz play Trump?

that you never seem to learn any lessons here is absolutely tragic

Actually I was thinking the degradation of our once-amicable relationship was the tragic part.

As is the part about you threatening me with more profanity-laced tantrums.

In case you haven’t noticed, NO ONE learns any “lessons” around here. We’re all a bunch of stubborn assholes to one another.

We could all be cool and just be a bunch of homies who bond over KU hoops, but no, we can’t have nice things.

Instead we gotta act like the more important thing is cursing each other out and trying for “lessons” on the pols bored. Allsome.

I wouldn't hire her to babysit my kid/s but without looking it up, do you know who is the current Director of National Intelligence? I'm willing to bet 75% of Americans have no clue.

That doesn’t really matter as I assumed it wasn’t a person who was as if ousdahl and randy had a child.

And then looked her up and no, she hasn’t supported Russian conspiracies.

(It is here I will note that it seems like a GOOD thing for us normies to have no reason to know who the DNI is.)

Your first sentence is worthy of my giving you my early POTD nomination.
Second sentence is pretty good too. Unfortunately.

I'm waiting for Trump to nominate his first "Black Guy" (or woman). Has to be Benny Carson. Right? Is there any other "Black Guy" Trump likes and who is willing to be a spineless Trump puppet?

I’d say Tim Scott, but Trump is probably bored of getting him to debase and humiliate himself.

Which is a joke, but also not - this is what he does.

For example, he is nominating Rubio for SecState pretty much only for the purpose of clearing out his Senate seat and summarily firing him from SecState the moment he does something that normal people might consider “prudent.”

The former Democratic member of Congress from Hawaii has many critics and no formal intelligence experience. She’s known chiefly for her opposition to American wars abroad — and sympathetic views on autocrats like Russia’s Vladimir Putin and Syria’s Bashar al-Assad.

One Western intelligence official said it could lead America’s allies to curb how much information they share with Washington. “I imagine even Israel will have serious qualms — America’s main intelligence partner on terrorist threats,” said the official, who was granted anonymity to discuss a sensitive issue...

Marc Thiessen is one of those columnists who does the “reasonable conservative” cosplay at WaPo.

Meaning, he’s profited handsomely off of the normalization and bothsidesing of the last ten years.

Anyway, that is background for why I say, get fucked with a pineapple, Marc Thiessen:

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) resigned from Congress just before the House Ethics Committee was set to hold a potentially pivotal meeting on its investigation into the Florida congressman…

i haven’t checked today, but i presume the trump transition team has still yet to submit all the necessary ethics declarations that are supposedly required by law
