The most damning indictment i see at the moment from the left is the inexplicable lack of action by elected officials. They appear to be politely following along with orders and just saying oh shucks....what can we do? Perhaps there are some nefarious thing happening behind the scenes to ensure they don't speak up to much...I dont know. But I am surprised at the lack of resistance from the only ones who can make a difference at the highest levels.
I don't think TDubs post is saying what you think it's saying, BD.BiggDick wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 2:50 pmPOTDTDub wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:17 am I will say....if there is blame for the dems...and there is. If people can look at Trump's list of crimes, mismanagement and failures from his first administration and double down by voting him back into office then they are never going to learn. At this point, they are so entrenched in their MAGA ways that they'll never tuck tail and admit they were duped.KUTradition wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 11:27 am i’m torn
there’s a big part of me that thinks the ousdahls, psychos, randis, mich’s, and dodos of the country have a lesson to learn…and they NEED to learn it the hard way
Their naive, unrequited good faith is the story of why we’re here.

They just aren't getting any major coverage for it.

Agree with all of this.jfish wrote:Their naive, unrequited good faith is the story of why we’re here.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but it sounds like another of your "both sides" arguments.BiggDick wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 8:54 pm Ugh.
I’ll prob get shit for this too, but I’m just so damn afeared that the rich oligarchs who own much of the media about Trump and Republicans, maybe actually be the exact same rich oligarchs who own the media about Dems.
Ugh.
Let me just add, re: “Selfish and gullible people are much more a part of the story.
They were the ones who voted for their president”
When you get class grievance without class conscience, you get MAGA.
I have provided evidence, or at least tried to.Shirley wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 10:04 pmI'm not sure exactly what you mean, but it sounds like another of your "both sides" arguments.BiggDick wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 8:54 pm Ugh.

So, if you don't, mind flesh it out, and provide your evidence/details.
