2nd night in a row now.

last night, I was actually kinda amused. A bunch of college kids partying didn't bother me much - not nearly as much as a stressed out dog barking.

But today, I was exhausted. The landlord texted, "were the boys loud last night?" yea, we had to go up and ask them to keep it down. "sorry. thanks."

and tonight, they were quiet earlier so I actually fell asleep. Then at around 1:30am, they start yelling and stomping and throwing more beer pong air balls. god, they're bad. Like for real these loosers have NO hand eye coordination.

I said if they wake me up again it'll be the cops coming to the door. And I even clarified, I don't want the cops to come either, so let's not let it get to that. Me taking the time to come up in the middle of the night and leave it a warning is me being cool about it.

This is a tricky one. If it was any other renter being a loud asshole, I woulda called the cops by now. But it’s the landlord’s son.

On one hand I don’t wanna piss off the landlord. But on the other hand I don’t wanna live here any more if he gives his kid the green light to come party every time college is on break.

And if push came to shove, noise ordinances and drinking laws are on my side, right? He can’t evict me and beaver just cuz he’s hosting underage ragers, right?

If I *did* call the cops, I would keep the complaint narrowly limited to the noise...but cops are prob gonna start throwing around MIPs and shit, right?

Either way is that really the best idea?

I’m gonna contact the landlord today again.

I’m just exhausted at this point.

Well, last night I told them I came up to offer a friendly warning but if there were issues going forward the next visit would be from the cops.
