Isn't Lobby the same guy who a few months ago told us all signs point to Yang and Gabbard - because of Youtube hits/views?

Re: who ya got?
Re: who ya got?
also the same guy who a few months ago told us there was a major housing market crash happening right now, or sooner!
Re: who ya got?
Just stating a fact -- the (extreme) left wants non-white women as their ideal candidate.
Re: who ya got?
After Joe Rogan endorsed Sanders, there was an outrage of women calling Rogan a "sexist, misogynist, and even a racist." That is the problem with the left these days, and it's unfortunate that it distracts us from bigger problems on the right.
@Gutter, Yang still has a chance. Gabbard? Not looking so good. If I had to bet though, as of right now, it looks like Sanders is the guy. A lot can change though in 10 months.

That, or, several of the senate republicans covering for Trump are demanding the trial not end until next Wednesday, so Trump won't make independents et al vomit by taking exoneration victory laps during his SOTU speech, Tuesday night.

Re: who ya got?
"The independents et al" have their heads so far up Trump's behind that the only way to find out they vomit is if Trump does. They are beyond are semblance of integrity, decency and shame.
Re: who ya got?
That's Tuesday? I usually watch the SOTU. I may have to make an exception this year.

These days? The problem with the left? It's a long time ago that my mother, a conservative 1950s housewife, taught me not to say the N-word. When did that become "a distraction"?lobster wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 11:45 am After Joe Rogan endorsed Sanders, there was an outrage of women calling Rogan a "sexist, misogynist, and even a racist." Re: who ya got?
You may be right, and unfortunately that does not bode well for the future of our country as a superpower. However, that does not invalidate my observation. For all practical purposes the current Administration is acting as a vassal for Putin and this will only expand further. The grievance-party has played up the grievance so much that a good portion of the country is blindly following, their own self interest be damned - see plight of farmers in Iowa, Wisconsin and other Midwest States whose livelihood has been destroyed by the policies of this President and their loyalty has to be bought at substantial cost.
Re: who ya got?
Nah.
A REAL Pootin vassal would ban fracking, thus ending any hope of American energy independence and giving tremendous pricing power to Russia.
Which reminds me...

Eh, I hear black people (including KU basketball players) using that word all the time. No one cares that Rogan used the N word.seahawk wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 1:14 pmThese days? Why don't you ever attack the argument at hand instead of trying (and failing) to make someone look bad with something unrelated?
Re: who ya got?
There are more than enough ways to be energy independent without fracking......for starters we can increase fuel-efficiency standards, both for automobiles and homes.
You guys have been wrong on supply-side economics forever.....decreasing (notice I did not say "eliminate") demand and creating other ways to produce/use energy will help both with dependence on Russian/Saudi energy (go pound sand, Putin...literally) and create new opportunities.

Your buddy Illi spent 4 pages explaining why the N-word is not acceptable. And uhhhm, Bernie's long standing racism is part of the problem, if the question is why he has absolutely no chance of beating Trump.

Re: who ya got?
I don't like hearing the n-word, even by blacks. I wish it would go away. However, just because someone uses it, does not necessarily make someone a racist. There are actually, very few truly racist people in the world. What most people confuse with the term racist is the word prejudice.

Good for you. That's an intellectually honest and consistent position that is all too lacking.
