Who would have thought when the season started that KU would not be the biggest disaster in the Big 12 on 11/14/21?
Texas is a dumpster fire and it starts with their "leadership".
Sarkisian sucks.
Bo Davis is nuts.
Jeff Banks is nuts.
Kwiatkowski sucks.

per espn:

0: Kansas entered Saturday 0-100 as an underdog of at least 24 points since the FBS/FCS split in 1978, by far the worst in the FBS over that stretch
2: Wins in last 5 games vs. Texas for Kansas, which was 2-13 all time against the Longhorns and had lost 13 straight prior to then
5: Straight losses for Texas, longest skid in last 65 seasons and tied for third longest in school history
6: TD passes for Texas' Casey Thompson, which tie Colt McCoy for most in a single game in school history
18:Consecutive conference losses for Kansas prior to Saturday, tied for longest in FBS
21:Consecutive losses for Kansas vs. FBS teams prior to Saturday, longest active streak in FBS
56: Texas points in the loss, most in school history
57: Kansas points in a road game, most in school history
79: Texas entered Saturday 79-0 as a favorite of at least 24 points since the FBS/FCS split in 1978

Part of what makes the raw video I posted so awesome.

Pretty understandable if those parents don’t spend the considerable money to travel to Austin for that game. And then the realization your walk on son catches an historic 2 points.
I honestly don't know, do walk on's parents need to pay travel expenses or do they get "stipends" too?

Pretty sure they get tickets discounted or given to them in the KU section but pay for everything else.

I’m not a big CFB fan, but I don’t think there’s another sport out there that can deliver that kind of moment. David vs. Goliath. A walk on getting thrown into the game at the stadium of the most absurdly wealthy football program in the world.

Watched his postgame presser, his parents drive to every game.

Since the start of the 2016 season, KU Football has won 9% of its games against FBS teams not from Austin TX.

They have won 40% of their games against the Longhorns.

What a roller coaster of emotions this game was! From disbelief and anger on the failed 4th down attempt to disbelief and elation on the 2 point conversion! It feels like a heavy weight has been lifted from my chest.

Also, with the NIL rules, can some local business owner get $10K in Jared Casey's pocket?

We were calling for it. But not into the Middle. They had stacked 4 vs. 3 there. Neal over the top was probably the better play.

Talked to Matt quite a bit at a youth football tournament we ran lat weekend. He’s still all about KU even though it didn’t work out for him well in the administration.
