Out of the coma.
Garage probably wasn’t the right word. Covered “garage” that is otherwise open air. Like a downtown parking structure.

My house and garage face North and I'm quite sure my garage door is frozen to the ground, not that I need to go anywhere.

8:30 here and we're still on the warm side of the front. Looks like it's passed LouAhhhVul and is on it's way.

It sucks. -7 here in KC, wind chill around -25-30 degrees. And my garage door is frozen to the ground. Wouldn't budge after messing with it for 5 minutes and 5 minutes was about all I could handle before my face felt like it was frozen.
Might put a small space heater out there later and let it run and see if that helps, otherwise, might have to get the blow torch out...lol

We put off our trip to CO a day to allow the tundra of western KS to warm up a bit today. Looks like it will be 52 degrees and sunny in the Springs for Xmas day. We can hold all of our pagan rituals outside this year!

One of the really curious things about Foxbrain is that the afflicted are somehow both (1) small-government, low-tax, no-handout types, and also (2) fundamentally allergic to doing anything to proactively manage/plan for climate change (leaving us all to pay for one emergency disaster relief effort after another, without in any way preventing/mitigating the next crisis).

Me too.
Forgetting the shootings, looting, and dead frozen bodies that have been found.....
Here is an incredible video.
Meanwhile, the person driving the white pickup is an asshole.

70 mph winds right now. I would guess ive got somewhere in the neighborhood of 10k-20k tumbleweeds piled up against my fences and hillside.....this weekend, after a good week of soaking rain it may just be torching time.

I am not a Cali peep (well, anymore), but I did see on a walk through my back yard this morning that something is sprouting. I'm really hoping it's not an annual.
