I don't like hearing the n-word, even by blacks. I wish it would go away. However, just because someone uses it, does not necessarily make someone a racist. There are actually, very few truly racist people in the world.
What most people confuse with the term racist is the word prejudice.
Bless your heart, please explain the difference.

There is a superiority factor at play within racism that is slightly different than just being prejudice imo. Both are awful. Neither acceptable.

Not to defend lobster as I dont agree with his point but they are different, and it is a fairly key difference. Neither is a good thing, but different nonetheless.
Prejudice refers to a preconceived idea about a particular group, while racism involves an unequal distribution of power on the basis of race.
Prejudice is having a certain expectation of an individual based on subjective factors
Racism is when you believe that you're inherently objectively superior to one person or a group due to genetics.

What point do you not agree on? Sounds to me like we think similarly. You beautifully defined the difference between racism and prejudice.
When I wrote my first comment, I was making reference to the fact that sometimes stand-up comedians like Joe Rogan have used the n-word in their routine. Does that make him racist? No. Was it done in poor taste? I would say, yes. I prefer not to hear that word, even though I recognize it is used in different contexts. I just hear it as one of those words that we should retire and we'd all be better off.

So, you can see into Joe Rogan's soul and know that he doesn't really feel the white male privilege that is pretty much all that you have to stand on? That's even more bizarre than the explanations.
The distinction between your bulIshit explanations of racism and prejudice is a very subjective thing to determine. But, from what I've noticed in life, if you say the N-word as much as Rogan does, you're a racist.
If you defend Joe Rogan and didn't say anything when Illy was ranting on for 4 pages about Leawood, you're a hypocrite.

Wowsers. You're really an angry person. There's just no getting through, I'm afraid.

We should all be angry at racism.
Trying to normalize Joe Rogan's or Bernie Sanders' racism with excuses about why the N-word isn't all that bad--that's not anger producing, it's just sad.

I know, I probably was just wasting my time. According to her, I'm now a racist, misogynist, and someone who condones Jeffery Epstein's behavior.
I'm just going to throw in the towel with Sea.

She’s like an old billy goat my grandpa used to have on the farm. Only happy when chewing stuff up or head-butting things. Except I have a hunch the goat was a good bit smarter.

For the record, I don't think Joe Rogan is a racist. I don't know that for sure, and he may be. But it's far more likely that he uses the n-word for shock value, to drive up his numbers among the alt.-right, paleo-libertarian types. He's trying to be "edgy," and they eat it up.

I listen to Rogan’s podcast almost daily. He likes to stir the pot and get people uncomfortable. Not the least bit racist, but a habitual line-stepper for sure.

So, if anyone had any doubts about whether Rogan is racist, I believe that you have your answer in the above statement.

So, the DNC understands that, despite their tacit socialist leanings, they must pretend NOT to be socialist in order to get their candidate elected.

Best part of the whole thing is that Bernie will win and proceed to destroy the party, and they'll all still be ranting about whether Kansas City is in Kansas or Missouri.

^^^ This.
Among the reasons, anyone who thinks Americans are ready to elect a "socialist" president is kidding themselves. Yes, we're closer than before, but...
Americans don't care what you think of socialism, they know what they think, and if they don't, Trump et al. will be happy to spend billions of dollar$ and several months repeating endlessly what they "ought" to think.
IMO, after 4 years of Trump, the 5-10% of "undecided" Americans at play who will decide the election are more likely to want a return to some type of
normalcy, than to want to follow someone who's offering radical change, in the opposite direction.
