But I get why the NFL suspended Pouncey for 3 games.
It makes him miss the next Cleveland game. Because if Pouncey plays in that game, there will be a fight or 3 and it won't be pretty.

I believe all of the players, including the Browns understand what Pouncey did. It wasn't personal he was protecting a teammate. If I'm the Steelers and maybe more specifically Rudolph if the suspension, fine, etc is upheld you might want to take Pouncey out for a nice steak dinner.

I turned it off after the late interception. Man. I think Garrett killed a guy with a trident.

Garrett should never be allowed to play in the NFL.
The league dodged a bullet with Burfect.

Take it out of the context of sports: a helmet weighs 6 pounds or more at that level/size. Hit someone in the head with that at your workplace and see how long before the police are involved.
There is obviously invited contact in sports, but that's far outside of what is allowable and fathomable.
Since I guess I'm just doing 90s movie quotes in this thread: did you know the human head weighs ten pounds?
I assume you would have to remove the heads of Tilda Swinton and Mangino from that data.

I believe the quote is the human head weighs eight pounds.

You’ve met me. You’d forgive my error on this one.

And now factor in the fact that the 6 pound helmet was being swung by a guy that bench 225 pounds 33 times at the NFL Combine. A regular human could kill someone by bashing them in the head with a 6 pound object; this could have gone much worse than it did.
Didn't see it live or hadn't seen it until is was described on radio. I had visions of him swinging it with full force, hitting him on the crown of the head with the crown of the helmet. Of course none of that happened. You didn't factor in the guy standing between the two who can bench 300 pounds 50 times at the combine. Love hyperbole.

I'm 11-0 against the spread this week on ESPN Pigskin Pick'em.
That and $2.25 gets me a ride on a bus.
I go 13-0 this week and it might get me a $100 Amazon gift card. BFD.
