I don't know why I have never sat down and watched Breaking Bad. Starting it tonight.
That's been the only show the wife and I have watched the last couple years. We just finished season 4. It's incredible. Best show I have ever seen.
The use of symbolism and camera angles and lighting is so incredibly engaging. Or you can just relax and enjoy the show... but it won't be nearly as fun.
I watched the first 6 episodes of Season 1 yesterday. They certainly hit the ground running. They packed a lot of action, story and activity into every episode for sure. Loving it so far.

But yes, so very good.

I loved the first 5 seasons, but haven't started the 6th season yet either.
Reading this thread makes me want to binge Breaking Bad, too.

We don't binge. It took almost two years to get through 4 seasons.
I thought that the end of season 4 was a perfect ending for the series. I don't understand why there is a 5 - doesn't seem like there is anything left. Guess I'll find out. Might take 6 months though.

I'm guessing you just saw it bc it's featured on Amazon Prime.
I don't like Jazz but loved that movie.
Not sure if a teacher like that would survive today though.

I just finished Season 2 of Breaking Bad. Fantastic stuff. The cinematography is really unique and keeps the eye and Bryan Cranston has always been one of my favorites.

We had such teachers in Lawrence. A number of my friends became professional musicians too. But I hated gym and band days. PTSD from junior high

Finding old shit.....
1994 the cast of Friends heading to Vegas before the show premiered. Why do I have a feeling there was some cocaine consumed on this flight?

I finally got around to watching to original avatar after.....14? years?
Anyway, pretty good. But also pretty standard native American storyline right? Like, a futuristic, modified Dances with Wolves?

IMO, Dances With Wolves was terrible, so I doubt I'd care for Avatar.
But, that's just me.

oh my god....are...you okay ?
Dances with Wolves is probably a top 5 movie of all time, top 10 at the absolute lowest.
avatar wasn't near as good as DWW. Just similarities in storyline etc.
