If you chase me and hit me in the head with a skateboard, I will assume that you are trying to kill me. If you run at me with a handgun drawn and pointed at me, I will assume you are trying to kill me.
No. Grosskreutz did.
Ok, but in one of your previous posts you stated it was the "deceased" who tried to kill him. Grosskreutz is NOT deceased.
Rosenbaum is deceased but even Rittenhouse couldn't prove that Rosenbaum "tried to kill him".
Now tell us why you feel Huber wasn't acting in self defense and why it was OK for Rittenhouse to shoot and kill Huber but not ok for Huber to try and "kill" Rittenhouse.
I'm trying to think of a respectful way to say this. I'll simply say our exchange has pretty much proven your ignorance on the subject.

Psych (and his type) are ready to call this maggot a hero because he actually got to do something that they, deep inside, wish they could get away with

The deceased.
They did? You sure about that? I could be wrong but I don't believe that was said in court in regards to Rosenbaum. Maybe it was?
AS far as Huber, he MAY have tried to kill Rittenhouse AFTER Rittenhouse shot someone but we didn't get to hear his side of the story in court. Did we?
Perhaps Huber felt if he didn't stop Rittenhouse he may have shot other people - who were or were NOT "trying to kill him". The FACT is we will never know.
If you chase me and hit me in the head with a skateboard, I will assume that you are trying to kill me. If you run at me with a handgun drawn and pointed at me, I will assume you are trying to kill me.
If you are running from the scene of just shooting someone in the back, you might want to consider that that has something to do with why others are chasing you and trying to stop you. Do what you feel everyone who gets killed by a law enforcement should do and just stop being confrontational, do not resist efforts to detain you, put any weapon you are in possession of on the ground and comply.

I know psych already has his mind made up, but it’s wild that the duty is not on folks to refrain from bringing assault rifles to a protest; but on everyone else to not rub the guy with the assault rifle the wrong way.

Perhaps the duty is on those protesting to do so without looting, burning, destroying property, and making others feel unsafe. Once you start doing that, you invite people showing up with assault rifles. It's pretty simple.

I think when people are yelling threats and urging each other to crush your skull, you may feel the need to defend yourself.
When they go so far as to hit you with large, hard objects in the head, you may feel the need to defend yourself.
When they have been following you around letting you know that they are going to harm you bodily, you may feel the need to defend yourself.
When someone runs at you with a handgun and is pointing it at you, you may feel the need to defend yourself.

If you’re concerned about making others feel unsafe, why are you cool with letting kids run around playing with assault rifles?
And do you really think property is more valuable than human lives?
And this response is telling: “you invite people showing up with assault rifles.” You almost make it sound like Kyle went there looking for trouble.

So, the cop that shot the female protester at the Capital was a hero too?

You keep creating a false dichotomy with your human lives vs. private property question. Both are important, and neither should be endangered. The only people who don't care about property being destroyed are those who either a) own nothing of value and/or b) are not the owners of the property being destroyed.
He went there to defend property which should not have been under threat in the first place. Being upset and outraged is not justification for wanton destruction of property that does not belong to you.

THIS IS THE BIGGEST PART OF THE ENTIRE SCENARIO.

What about the civil suits? What’s pending?
Is there a statue of limitations?
I kinda wonder if attorneys are waiting for the irresistible shiny luster of Kyle to wear off among conservatives, so he doesn’t enjoy the benefit of a buncha random magaheads footing the bill again for the damage he did.

I don't know if it's a fact that people yelled for Rittenhouse's skull to be crushed but I am confident the people who would have wanted Rittenhouse's skull to be crushed (AFTER he shot someone) very well may have felt their lives were potentially in danger. I probably would have yelled the same thing and my guess is you would have too if you were in the same exact situation and had witnessed Rittenhouse shooting someone.

Just imagine if a judge DID allow that video from a couple weeks prior of Kyle saying he wishes he could shoot protestors
