For the file (this is Trump mixing up Obama with Biden and seeming to forget there’s already been a WWII).
https://twitter.com/joenbc/status/17030 ... q_-8Yt1KMA
I do not view this as disqualifying or even, in and of itself, a very big deal. But here in this thread, there are those who point to gaffes like this as evidence of unfitness.
He's unfit.
But, who doesn't want someone, anyone, Trump?, to keep Biden from getting America into WWII, "very quickly" ?
Seems like something we could finally all agree on,
very quickly.

Trump might just be jealous that Biden is literally old enough to remember WWII

Trump hasn't been fit mentally since about 2004 or so. You can see how debilitated he has become by watching video from that time.

Crazy thought of the day.....
Today is Mexican Independence Day.
Mexicans in Chicago tend to celebrate the holiday over several days.
I read about and saw videos of how bad traffic was and how disruptive it was last night.
Tonight I am hearing the honking of car horns and the screeching of tires. Not a big deal being that I'm in my apartment but it is still somewhat disruptive/distracting.
I'm 100% convinced there are people who are thinking they will vote for Trump for the sole reason they are hating the Mexicans celebrating Mexican Independence Day.
RIGHT ON CUE!!!!! Check out the Instagram video and look at the comment......

There's something kinda funny about a Jew acknowledging Mexican Independence Day on Rosh Hashanah.

You have this habit for saying things that really call into question your basic humanity (and certainly your life experience).
For example, you consider kids' lives a worthwhile cost for Second Amendment freedoms. And you consider the lives of anyone who is old or in poor health a worthwhile cost for your freedom not to wear a cloth mask sometimes. And of course you consider trans people to be "mentally ill," and you vigorously support a candidate for President who has expressed a desire to institutionalize (and religiously program) more "mentally ill" people. You have not-so-coyly attributed crime to race.
And so on.
Why is this relevant here - the way you talk about Biden suggests to me that you do not have any older folks in your life that you really value and respect. Because if you did, you would recognize that occasional difficulty
communicating is simply not the same thing as material impairment of cognition.
I would ask, if you're intent on both-sidesing the fuck out of Trump's clear unfitness (
e.g., he didn't know, as a candidate for Commander in Chief nearly ten years ago, what the nuclear triad even
is; he genuinely thought (and says he genuinely still thinks) that he's above the law, protected by the Presidential Records Act, can declassify by thought, etc.), that you identify specific, material, actual issues. Not slips of the tongue or gaffes, and not generalized "lol everyone knows haha" nonsense.
Show me the receipts, and let's discuss.

Insightful way to craft a post, jfish26.
But, a word of caution in response to this:
"Show me the receipts, and let's discuss."
Be careful to whom you make that request.
After Gutter and I refuted TDub's claims about Nancy Pelosi's alcohol abuse recently, he largely disappeared from the Politics forum, a huge loss.
When he made the claim I believed him because I trust what he says implicitly, but having never heard the charge before, I checked. Much to my relief it didn't appear to be true, but I'm left wondering how he came to think so with such conviction?

The MSM is rife with disinformation. Social media is often only disinformation (see Randy). Even NPR has been pushed to the right. Mostly the media wants to endorse authoritarianism for access and cold cash. For those inclined to think, there is a chance to overcome the subliminal message "Your vote doesn't matter. Let the rubes have their way."
You have to be careful not to fall into the anti-democracy cynicism rinse-repeat cycle. It was carefully curated. And too few of us are careful enough.

All of these were disinformation. And all of you talked shit on me for believing them. I was right about all of them
They are going to lock the country down..
They are going to try to force everyone to get vaccines..
Covid came from a lab..
The vaccines have side effects...
The vaccines don't stop transmission..
All of those things ended up being fact. (Covid from a lab is still debated, but tons of credibility for the lab leak theory)
You guys need to be more open minded to what the msm calls misinformation. Nowadays conspiracy theories are often just facts they don't want you to know about

VGR! You're a moron.
Look at your fourth example and then realize you said, "All of those things ended up being fact".

I do wonder if the networks will change course a little, after Trump just flooded the zone with shit on Meet The Press. Perhaps the table stakes for network airtime is an unqualified, no bullshit admission that he lost in 2020.

As long as people can't divert their eyes from the car wreck, I predict we'll be seeing lots and lots of a particular orange-colored car wreck, for a long time to come.
