Or the Sharpe brothers.
Growing up named Sterling or Shannon has to be about the same as a boy named Sue.

I think the better plan is for Wiggs to get traded 28 more times, once by each team.
He'd be MVP by the time he got to the last one.

He has so much talent. And is so easily distracted. A quandry.

Pro sports was god-given for Wiggs.
Never had to scratch and claw like Devonte', born to a 14 year old girl living below the poverty line.

I bet Wiggs would be an all star if he spent an off-season in philly doing hoodrat stuff with the Morrises.

Dotson's handles were always there. Unfortunately, so were his handlers.

Dotson will always be in the category of doing everything he could in college, individually, and coming back wasn't going to be more beneficial than going pro. Dedric Lawson, Malik Newman to name a few others. Very good to great college players, but coming back wouldn't have helped them get any higher on draft boards. Careers for professional sports have such a short shelf life that I will never fault a player for maximizing their earning potential.
NIL deals absolutely change that. I don't think it's crazy to think a returning second team All-American would get more in endorsements than a two-way or a G-League contract would pay. Makes the decisions for fridge prospects a little more difficult, but it's hard to say Dotson made the wrong decision given the rules at the time he made it.

Dedric was big and smooth, but just not the athlete the nba expects these days.
Devon and Malik could have both raised their stock by displaying legit pg skills. (And Devon, a j)
So the question becomes whether they stand a better chance of developing and showcasing that in college, or in another venue that doesn’t have silly requirements like limiting workouts and going to class

They have a tendency to get cold from time to time. Probably the main thing that separates them from the guaranteed picks.
