Lost power yesterday. Then lost cell service. Just cot data back at halftime. Still no power. No ETA.
They don't have DVR in Kentucky?
Dammit, I did it again. I looked at an Illy post and it was stupid again. Hard to run a dvr with no power.
LOL sorry.
I am not doing so well reading posts today. I was too eager to make fun of Kentucky.

My smart ass response was supposed to be in response to your post about Kelce on SNL.
Not sure why I put it in here.

Still no power and no ETA. It's maddening to see lights on across the street in two directions. One dude still has his Christmas tree on, probably just to mock me.

Tried three different Waffle Houses today. Two are still closed with no power, the other one had a line out the door. Fortunately, I hit Ramsey's as they opened their doors. They had a line halfway through the parking lot when I left. I had a big ole omlette and hash browns. Pic from Yelp.

Sorry about your lack of power 99.
Pretty sure they have a law against power outages in Minnesota, so brighter days ahead!
dammit

Forth day with no power. I actually had to come into the office today.
The communication from the utility company has been awful. No doubt the are overwhelmed and understaffed.
We lost power at 4pm Friday. At that time their website said power would be restored by 8:30 pm. I told my wife, no way someone was going up in a cherry picker with 70 - 80 mph winds.
At 8:30pm Friday, the website updated to say 8:30 am Saturday.
At 8:30 am Saturday, this was updated to "Assessing the situation".
At 5pm Sunday, the update was 10:30pm Sunday.
At 10:30 pm Sunday, the update was 10:30 pm March 8.
At 8:00 am Monday, "Assessing the situation".
11:00 am Monday 1:00 pm Monday.
12:45 pm Monday updated to 5:00 pm Monday.
I understand that things are bad, yuge trees falling on lots of power lines. I get it. I'll be patient while you fix it. But seriously. get a real communications team. Jeebus.

You have a generator 99?
I’m guessing no since you moved into a temp space.

Got an inch or two of snow.
Schools cancelled preemptively the day before.
I get why but the weather peeps really muffed up the temp being too warm for any of the snow to stick.
Lost power from the wind at 8 last night. Got it back at 3.

We had an extremely warm Feb. Now it's in the 20s. Killing lots of blossoms.

Yeah, my dogwood tree out front has started to bloom, might kill them over the next few days, oh well. It'll re-bloom. All my hostas and tulips are coming up, but they're pretty hardy. I overseeded my front yard this past weekend, so little snow and rain will be good.

Looks and sounds like the world is coming to an end outside my windows.
I'll try and post pics and videos in a little while - assuming the world doesn't come to an end and/or I'm not dead.

Had thunderstorms last night. The newish dog, who usually sleeps downstairs on the couch, got scared and climbed into bed with us and slept cuddled into me. My wife doesn't let her in the bed but made an exception this time.
Our kids have never done the "I'm scared, can I sleep with you" thing. And I'm glad they haven't. But with the dog I thought it was great.
