Lots of Bengals fans here. I think Mrs 99 and I will hit the sports bar to watch this one.

When the Bengals are on, not many teams can beat them. They have had their stinkers too. But that trio of WR with Mixon and Burrow distributing the ball is a tough offense to stop.

Bengals offensive line isn’t great. Pass rush is going to have to dominate. If not it could get interesting.
Bengals top 5 against the run but have had issues covering TEs. If 87 is healthy and a full go expect a big day.

I think a healthy KC team is significantly better than a healthy Cincinnati team. Unfortunately the last couple of years, you just can't expect to have a full team every week.

However, outside of covid, the Chiefs are relatively healthy right now.

But for Clyde, yeah.

That's true, but I'm not convinced CEH is a difference maker.

Derrick Gore has been pretty good when he gets snaps with CEH out, especially in the passing game.

Were I Clark Hunt, and had effectively limitless money, I'd have entire team hoteled for the duration at this point. Give every guy four rooms, six, whatever it takes.

We shoulda drafted Swift.
CEH is marginally better than Darrell.
Kind of a wasted first really.

Big time. And you really can't afford those when you're so top-heavy, cap-wise.

Swift has a gear CEH does not. Both have been injury prone but CEH benefits from lesser attention defensively. I think Swift would be more of a big play threat than CEH.

I wanted Trevon Diggs at that spot.

Imagine that or Michael Pittman, Tee Higgins or, yowza, Jonathan Taylor.

I'm not sure I'd call the pick a "waste". Injuries are tough to predict in the NFL. When healthy, he's been a good and versatile back.

That said, I'd never spend anything higher than a 3rd round pick on a RB with Mahomes as your QB unless you're getting a Henry/AP/Beast Mode type back.

CEH, as said probably three or four times in this loooong thread, is too small to be a primary back inside. He was crushed on that last play yesterday. I believe the Chiefs do better without him. Might even have two more wins, though his catch on the 2-point conversion was huge last week. His role was always as a receiver but rarely explored.

I dont agree the Chiefs do better without him. He is still pretty good at maneuvering through the holes given. Hes a good pass catching back. Hes also decent and getting better at pass blocking. Hes a versatile dude. But we could have gotten better value at that pick.

Clyde likely sitting for next week or two, but will be fresh for playoffs.

Nothing wrong with giving him the next two weeks (hopefully 3) off

Last year he hurt his lower leg around this time didn't he? Against the Saints I thought it was. Nasty looking injury but made it back for I want to say the AFCCG?

Anyways, I believe the Chiefs trust D Williams more than they do CEH but with only Gore behind him they are kinda thin at RB especially since both of those guys place special teams. I could see McGuire getting called up or watch for McKinnon status since he is eligible to return from IR.

Chiefs a 4 point favorite on the road to Cincy - they have a solid collection of skill players too.
Burrow 6th in passing yards and 7th in passing TDs ( sorry Cascadia ).
He and Herbert were good gets for each franchise.
