Had thunderstorms last night. The newish dog, who usually sleeps downstairs on the couch, got scared and climbed into bed with us and slept cuddled into me. My wife doesn't let her in the bed but made an exception this time.
Our kids have never done the "I'm scared, can I sleep with you" thing. And I'm glad they haven't. But with the dog I thought it was great.
Jealous of you in regards to the dog.
Heard there bad "flash" flooding in Wilmette tonight. Edens was closed.
Round two is supposed to roll through soon.

amazing. I dont think my kids have ever not ended up in our bed.....ever.
Before kids, my old dog slept in bed every night.....then he got kicked to the floor....then him and the other one got shifted outside...the new dog i dont think has ever spent a night indoors (in the house anyway)...a cosmic shift.

Damn Gutter, best of luck, and try to stay safe.
I hope there's a basement below your penthouse, if you need it.

It would be pretty ninja of Trump to make a surprise campaign stop in PR to throw them some paper towels, blame the heat on Sleepy Joe, and perhaps capture their votes.

Feral and Trad - Unless I am mistaken, Puerto Ricans don't vote for President. Which is something I don't feel is right.

Yeah, that's what I thought/recalled but since I felt the need to refresh my memory (to be sure) I just read this.....
This ALMOST makes me happy I live in Chicago. The LA area has had a lot of shit weather the past 9 months and it looks like it may get bad again in the not too distant future.

I live in a place where it currently appears to be both basically completely sunny and completely cloudy at the same time. The photo below doesn't really do what I am describing much justice but sort of shows what I am talking about.
