Not nearly as many as you think. Stop watching so much fox news.

Sorry, I didn't realize that in your world being appalled when I learned what Clinton did ~ 20 years ago excluded me from being appalled at Trump's behavior, but I do now.

Because

Settle down.

I lulz'ed at Chikn's statement that Trump "brought" indignity to the presidency. And I merely pointed out that that particular ship sailed a long time ago. Don't get me started on Kennedy and Johnson...

None of that means that Trump doesn't deserve what he is getting. Each incident has to be treated discretely, obviously.

But the idea that the office was somehow dignified before Trump is just...well...ignorant.
World leaders weren't openly laughing at Clinton even after the Lewinsky issues. They are openly laughing at Trump.

I agree that Chikn's comments are laughable; the nationwide poop flinging going on shows that "dignity" is not high on some folks' requirements. But there's no doubt that Trump has uniquely lowered the bar on just about every measurable when it comes to behavior, class, decorum and opinion of our nation in the eyes of the rest of the world.

The entire public discourse is just more disgusting since 2016 and it has absolutely become normal.

Why the fuck do I care what world leaders do?

Besides, the Left has said this EXACT SAME THING about every Republican since Reagan.

Dowdy woulda been corrupt. 30 years of precedent tell us that. But that doesn't mean that Trump gets a pass. Lesser of two evils is still an evil. Or something like that.
There is still a very real possibility that the Republican controlled Senate could vote to conclude the trial on impeachment without calling a single witness. A gross neglect of duty and oath may occur and we're here pointlessly arguing about some crazy lady's rant video and about whether pointing out Fox News' "token black" is racist or not.

If this isnt the definition of "getting a pass" then I dont know what is.

Yes, there is a distinct possibility that will happen. I hope it will not -- for a variety of reasons.

Nevertheless, even if it does happen, in less than 11 months, the entire nation gets its chance to hold him accountable.

And speak for yourself. I have exactly ZERO posts on the video and the "token" question.

Why should we care whether our not other nations respect our leader? Oh, gee, I dont know. Come on.

As for your Whataboutism, I don't believe it was anything remotely resembling this hot mess. I personally thought G.W. Bush was a bit of a dope and that he lied like a busted teenager but I never felt he fundamentally embarrassed our nation like Trump has. There maybe a few examples out there that you no doubt already have cued up to share, but I could find a few examples of just about any public figure on the planet being disliked by someone.

Some day, you should spend a few minutes in the archives of .com.

Chimpy McBushitler was the most embarrassing president evar!

Also, he didn't have dementia, like the current president (and our current football coach). But it was clear that he drinking again, at the very least, and possibly using again. Cuz reasons.

"lulz"

Hillary Clinton is the most exonerated politician ever

Justice Dept. winds down Clinton-related inquiry once championed by Trump. It found nothing of consequence.

A Justice Department inquiry launched more than two years ago to mollify conservatives clamoring for more investigations of Hillary Clinton has effectively ended with no tangible results, and current and former law enforcement officials said they never expected the effort to produce much of anything.
John Huber, the U.S. attorney in Utah, was tapped in November 2017 by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions to look into concerns raised by President Trump and his allies in Congress that the FBI had not fully pursued cases of possible corruption at the Clinton Foundation and during Clinton’s time as secretary of state, when the U.S. government decided not to block the sale of a company called Uranium One...

Because Obama, whether you like his policies and attitude or not, was not a womanizer...

And it's not a "way back machine", it's literally the last democrat president before Obama.....

Never heard anything negative about Bush in that sense either iirc.

So we're batting about 50% over the last 4 presidents of womanizers. We sure know how to pick em.
