Your post is exactly why people say teachers are "underappreciated." Yes, the school year is 9 months long. But I don't know a teacher who doesn't spend an entire summer working/prepping for the upcoming year or doing summer school. No to mention being a teacher is hardly a 40-hour a week job.

Pretty sure you didn't mean to be cavalier about this.
