i made a comment about the banks when we were discussing rent and mortgage payments
the money was going to the wrong people because all those payments that had been missed weren’t magically going away

The $15 minimum wage was not going to pass. A lot of the vote yesterday had procedural ramifications to ensure the larger bill could pass. Even so, every time we let the GOP off with shafting workers, the middle class pays the bill. ON the Afghan airlifter: the graft there was Congressional. The AF didn't go and pick a loser, Congress did and told them to make it work. I think it was a W boondoggle that took years to play out. Somewhere in that cost, there was plenty of graft.
