Used to be no lines between FBS/FCS, but they pop up much more now with online offshores being so readily available.

However, I doubt there'd be a ton of action on this one, or good info to even set a line.

Leipold making it sound like they will publicly announce the QB starter this week.

I listened to his weekly press conference this morning and I got the same sense. He sounds like he doesn't want to drag anything out if he doesn't have to, unlike Beaty who intentionally strung the whole thing along as some kind of circus. Leipold doesn't rotate his guys either so I think he wants to find his QB and get it settled. Still sounds like it's trending toward Jason Bean as well, maybe Wednesday or Thursday it'll come out and we get after it Friday night.

Which is surprising considering what we've been used to. I remember when Beaty announced both QBs on the video board before the game before playing fucking SEMO. What a tool.

I'll listen to his presser on way home. I like listening to Leipold talk. To the point. He doesn't do much coachspeak, he's just straight forward with it. I would love to listen to Monken talk, but enjoy Leipold just giving a straight answer without much fluff.

Yep, all signs have been pointing to Bean, and I think he adds an element to the offense we haven't had at KU in a long time.

I don't fault Beaty or Miles for how they handled their Week 1 QB announcements. That's how most programs do it.

I think if Leipold announces this week, it's to instill confidence in the starter, back him as the guy for the entire game and into the upcoming weeks, and get the media attention away from it on Thursday/Friday. That's also fine. I don't know if it's better, it's just different.

If Bean starts every game this season, does Daniels stick with the program?

KU had light blue jerseys at one time. Remember the throwback they did around 2011 or so? Light blue and white. Looked sharp.

No doubt a cool looking jersey but knowing Adidas, the "replica" will probably be trash.
If you want an "authentic" KU jersey let me know. I have a buddy who has a shitload of them.

Less is more.
We've got big Jayhawks on the shoulders, a Big 12 logo, the adidas logo and some other logo on the sleeve.
All the logos have a blue stroke sans the Adidas logo - which may be brand guidelines - but then the Kansas doesn't have any stroke.

It's a no for me dawg.
