Can you imagine, if we somehow pull off this back to back, and KM JW and GD all agree to come back together Florida style to chase a 3peat?
Boner alert!

What’s up with Twitter?
And sorry you guys, I know tweets are annoying. It was just a post from the Big 12 saying Jalen is unanimous POY

so Jalen's sitting at 19.7 points average...is there any easy way to do the math to figure out how he could get back above 20?

yea.
which is prob unlikely at this point, I guess.
Ochai cooled off a bit this time last year, and still went first team AA, and that was with lesser stats, and maybe even less of a starring role, than Jalen this year.
That's not to say Ochai was less of a star last year, just that maybe he had more of a supporting cast overall than Jalen this year. Or something.
but I suppose another obstacle to Jalen's candidacy, is whether there are 5 other guys, or a couple other forwards specifically, who might get the nod over him.
but holy shit, Jalen might go rafters!

I think he's a clear first-team AA. So he's going to rafters. Which, speaking of.
We have quite a few that will need to go up soon.

you can practically already hear the announcer dood like, "...Big 12 Player of the Year, first team All American, and (why not) back to back championships including 2023 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player"
*goosebumps*
but, who was the last? I should remember this. Frank? Devonte? Dok?
and, who's next up? Ochai?

Rafters are going to be crowded. Going to have to downsize the banners.

The real question is will Self force them to retire DMac because he was robbed of FF MOP?

DMac doesn't belong up there in my opinion.
Winning the FF MOP ( and he was absolutely robbed ) is pretty meh of a requirement.

Self isn't going to force anyone. He gets to call the shot on it. Pretty sure there was someone up there somewhat recently that didn't meet one of the criteria or something like that.

Marcus Morris.
I wouldn't have retired his jersey but he was B12POY and a 2nd team AA.
He didn't just have two good games.
