I have friends and family members who have sent and publicly posted photos and videos.
Last night at 9:13pm I received this message - "Boy did you get out of LA in the nick of time". I would have been fucked based on the area/s I was in. Between the Palisades/Malibu, West Hollywood, and other fires, all EXACT places I was in right before the fires.
I feel the best place to view pics and videos is on X. Some crazy shit.

Buddy shot this from his roof two nights ago. Said traffic is too jammed up to make the effort to leave.

This was from two nights ago. The WeHo fire.

I don't know who took this video but I sort of roll my eyes because everyone seems to claim they know the person who took it.

No kidding. Republicans call to slash budgets and then complain about the negative impacts of slashed budgets. Wash, rinse, repeat. Next they'll complain that the US isn't educating people well enough to work tech jobs. Oh, wait...

I have checked in with all my LA people and all seem to be doing well. An ex-girlfriend is in the Simi Valley area keeping a very close eye on the Kenneth and Palisades fires and an old coach is in Riverside pretty far away from the craziness. Fingers crossed for everyone out there. Driving anywhere in LA is a nightmare. I cant imagine trying to flee the area under duress with kids and animals and a few precious belongings in your car stuck in a never-ending traffic jam.

I have an acquaintance with properties in Grand Cayman. She says she is all booked up with people from LA coming in.
Fleeing their homes for safety in another country. Does that makes them refugees

For those of you who remember Copperhead from back in the day he lives in Glendale. The fires have been nearby his home, but he has been spared so far. Some photos he took look pretty terrifying. He has a whole zoo to evacuate if it comes to that. But he says he has his bags packed just in case.

I have seen a number of wildfires over the years but never a firestorm closer than several miles away. They look pretty fuckin terrifying. Photos can't describe how evil these things look even from a distance.

Um, you do realize that L.A. is in California, which is under Democrat control and that the L.A. mayor is also a Democrat? When your government is dumb enough to ship "surplus" firefighting equipment to Ukraine to support the freedom fighters over there, to restrict distribution of water to the area to save a fish that is not even indigenous to the area, and to funnel money that should have been earmarked for keeping trees and brush trimmed to keep fires from jumping roads to illegals, you end up with situations like this.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/la-cou ... ender-cafe While Los Angeles officials were stripping millions in funding from their fire department ahead of one of the most destructive wildfires in state history, hundreds of thousands of dollars were allocated to fund programs such as a "Gay Men’s Chorus" and housing for the transgender homeless.
But even as the department funding was being pulled back, a Fox News Digital review of the L.A. County budget uncovered thousands of taxpayer dollars that were allocated to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and programs giving syringes to the homeless. Fires aren't political until hateful people meet up in Hell. Fox News will have a huge reunion there.
